About Dr. Duc Vo
Duc P. Vo,M.D. was born in Saigon, Vietnam and raised in Arlington, Texas. He graduated from Sam Houston High School and received his Bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University. He attended the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas where he received a Foundation Scholarship. He subsequently completed his residency training at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. He received additional training hand and microvascular surgery at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle. Dr. Vo specializes in disorders of the hand and upper-extremity, but continues to treat a wide breadth of orthopedic and sports medicine injuries. He practices arthroscopic shoulder and wrist surgery, as well as less invasive endoscoic carpal tunnel release. He is also trained in shoulder replacement surgery. Dr. Vo is a fellow in the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, and a member of the Texas Medical Association and the Dallas County Medical Society.

I never got to see Dr. Vo. I filled out all the forms on Zocdoc, uploaded my insurance card, etc and received a confirmation text of my appointment from Zocdoc. When I arrived for my appointment, the woman at the desk informed me I was not on their schedule. She did set up an appointment for a couple of hours later with another doctor, but I had to drive across town for it.
Overall, a very disappointing experience.

The wait time was literally less than 1 minute. The nurse who brought me back was so friendly and professional and listened. The nursing staff was exceptionally friendly. Virtually no wait. I feel like I was listened to about my problem. Given a choice about how far I wanted to take that day's meeting so I got an x-ray and I spoke to Dr. Vo who was able to provide a solution right away. I'll definitely be back.

Dr. Vo is an excellent physician. He listened intently and gave great information about my situation. Thoroughly discussed my X-rays and gave a range of treatment options and how each may address my need. I waited less than 5 minutes in the waiting room for each of my 2 appointments and waited a very short time in the treatment room between when the nurse left and Dr Vo arrived. I highly recommend him.
