I'm a transgender man so it's not very comfortable for me to have to keep an OB/GYN appointment. Dr. Bonn and his staff were very professional and understanding of my circumstances and made me feel more at ease with their treatment. It was just like any other doc appointment in that they didn't make a big deal out of my gender identity. I really appreciate it.

Bruce Bonn, MD is a native New Yorker. He received his BS in Biology (Summa Cum Laude) and MD (Cum Laude) in an elite six-year combined college/medical school program at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Albany Medical College. Following medical school, he completed a four-year obstetrical and gynecologic residency at Harvard Medical School/Brigham & Women’s Hospital.
After his residency Dr. Bonn moved to Washington, DC and opened a private practice in obstetrics and gynecology. In 2004, Dr. Bonn focused his practice on gynecology and gynecologic surgery. Dr. Bonn is currently a clinical professor of obstetrics & gynecology at The George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences. His professional interests include advanced laparoscopic surgery, including da Vinci robotic laparoscopic hysterectomy and myomectomy.
Dr. Bonn has repeatedly been listed as a “Top Doctor” by Washingtonian magazine. He is an avid traveler, a music lover (he has a lifetime subscription to Rolling Stone), and a devoted fan of all things Apple.

It was a great experience from the moment I walked in. The receptionist was welcoming and helpful, the nurse was friendly and efficient, and Dr. Bonn was absolutely wonderful. He made me feel comfortable and at ease. He answered all of my question and didn't make me feel stupid for asking questions or not knowing the answers to his. His explanations were clear and concise but nothing was pushed or pressured. Not only did I felt confident in the decisions that were made before I left, I felt like I was involved in the decision making process. Thank you Dr. Bonn and staff!
