My training at The Mount Sinai Hospital of New York and National Jewish Health of Denver (formerly known as National Jewish Hospital/National Asthma Center) provided me with the tools to provide excellent diagnosis and care. My ongoing affiliation with the Denver hospital keeps me informed of cutting edge research and treatments as they are developed. I believe that patients with chronic illnesses such as asthma and allergies should be well educated about their condition. Patients live with these conditions every day and need to have the tools to take care of them in between visits to the doctor. To help accomplish this goal of patient education I have co-authored "Allergies: The Complete Guide to Diagnosis, Treatment, and Daily Management" published first by Consumer Reports Books and now in its 3rd edition. This book is an authoritative patient guide to allergies and asthma.
