Sharon was wonderful! Very warm and friendly. Asked thorough questions and had very insightful suggestions for my specific concerns.
I thought she was great and super informative. I already scheduled my follow-up appointment with her.
Very nice and descriptive on everything done
The office was very outdated and pretty junky. There also seemed to be no electric filing system and I had to wait for the doctor to manually organize my file since there was no front desk associate. I was alarmed at how disorganized the office was and did not feel like it was sterile. The room where I had to change into a gown was a make shift exam room/office and again was very junky and filled with paperwork. The doctor also left me alone for almost 20 minutes to give another patient a shot. I was there over an hour and was late to work because of how long it took to do everything. I will not be going back for a follow-up appt.
Dr. Yost is one of the best doctors I have ever met. She was very kind, patient, and extremely thorough and informative when it came to explaining the type of tests that needed to be done, what exact allergens were affecting me, and all of the different options available to remedy my allergies. I left my appointment with Dr. Yost, more informed and educated about my health than I had ever been after any doctor appointment I've had prior.
The doctor is very knowledgeable and interested in her patient's problem. I would recommend her highly..
She took her time to talk to my daughter and was very thorough
Dr. Sharon was very professional and compassionate. She addressed all of my concerns and more. I went in to see what i was allergic to and she also helped with my asthma. She listens to everything i told her and respected my privacy. Dr. Sharon explained everything to me and prescribed great things. She also recommended many other creams thst would help me.
You'll be waiting in the office forever; not the greatest quality all around.
Dr. Yost is very kind and has great bedside manners. She takes the time to answer questions and is thorough when explaining things. She is sympathetic to your situation and doesn't treat you like a number or like she's rushing you out of the office. The wait time could be a little bit better but we're in the largest city in America! Of course you're going to have to wait to see a doctor! Overall, I highly recommend Dr. Yost.
My first apt was great but the next few visits I had to wait more than 45 min. I was always given an excuse that someone walked in with out an apt and I had to wait. I'm not sure why I had to make an apt if walk ins are a priority.
Recommended a battery of tests for a simple allergic reaction. At no point did the doctor communicate that these tests would cost thousands of dollars. Very unprofessional to recommend such extensive and expensive testing for a minor ailment. No reasonable person would expect allergy treatment to cost thousands of dollars. Avoid!
Very detailed appointment with specific instructions on next steps. Helpful front desk staff.
Dr. Yost is really dedicated and sweet. Highly recommended!
There was a bit of a wait since she was backed up, but she was worth the wait! So sweet and helpful!
So I had some severe allegies all over my face and arms when I woke up in the morning and this doctor appeared to have the earliest availability. She had me wait for over 30 minutes because, according to her, she had a small injection to do for another patient. She did a few tests on me and asked for a whole bunch of questions but still seemed to have zero clue on how to treat me. She wrote four prescriptions, all of which had my name spelled wrong, three of which had no signature, and one of which didn't specify the quantity. I caught the first two errors right away so she corrected them. The last error was caught by the pharmacist because apparently I couldn't read her handwriting. The pharmacist at Walgreen called the doctors office for verification but they put her on hold for 10 minutes so she had to leave a voicemail. No one called back after 1.5 hours so I had to literally go back for another visit just to get an error-free prescription. I really think the doctor herself needs to go see a doctor, and I wouldn't recommend her to anyone, even if she happens to be the one with the earliest/only availability (I guess there has to be a reason why she's always available). Don't even bother to make a visit.
gross office, i mean disgusting. doc was scattered mentally, and more of a salesperson for allergy shots than a diagnostician for the issue i walked in with. couldn't believe i actually stayed for the appointment.
Dr. Yost is an extremely thorough and caring doctor. She took the time to gather every relevant piece of information necessary for her diagnosing and testing. During testing, she was extremely attentive and provided great context around each test and procedure. I've already scheduled my follow up with her! As for the wait time comments- she is definitely understaffed, but it does not take away from her skill or bedside manner.
I've never been to an allergist before, but Dr. Yost was very thorough and professional. Great experience.
Very good at her job and decent manner.Just overall pleasant experience professionally and personally. Thank you!
It was my first time visiting someone for allergies and Dr.Yost has a great bedside manner. Highly recommend.
Dr. Yost is excellent! She was very thorough in her examination of my symptoms and history, was certain to explain her logic and diagnosis in detail, and takes the time to listen. I would highly recommend Dr. Yost!
Dr Yost is a good, thorough allergist. But she's part of a busy office. My first appointment was quick and to the point. I'm seeing her to try and diagnose bites/hives. She's very thorough in her testing to see what I'm allergic to. My second follow up appointment I waited almost an hour to be seen, but that wasn't a surprise, it was busy that day. My only gripe with the office is that at times, when I call to schedule or reschedule, I only get the answering service, but the staff immediately calls back the next day, which makes me think maybe they screen calls? Weird. Either way, I'll stick with her for now.
I got there early and she had a few people who needed to get the flu shot. She was attentive, courteous and professional. Overall, great experience.
Dr. Yost definitely takes her time but is very interested in getting a complete history. Based on your history, she will recommend skin patch and/or blood work. She is very thorough and meticulous in her work. Expect a long wait for tests to develop on skin/gathering of materials for skin test, her assessment, and recommendations. Expect 2-3hrs minimum for initial testing, and 30minute -60 minute wait for follow up appointments.
First time visiting DR. Yost and any allergist for that matter. She had a lovely bedside manner and was extremely thorough in her evaluation and explanations. So much so that I don't think I have ever had such a detailed evaluation. She was very confident in her being able to control my symptoms even as I was getting worse right in her office. Her confidence in turn allowed me to feel more relaxed about my symptoms and recovery. Simply wonderful experience.
Dr Yost is extremely capable but so disorganized. I experienced an extremely long wait time to be seen (upwards of an hour) and the overall appointment took nearly 2 additional hrs (as she was going back and forth between myself and another patient). More disconcerting was the state of the office: extremely disorganized and chaotic, rather filthy, which for an allergy doctor is quite unsettling. That being said, she did treat what was bothering me but I don't think I'll be going back
Dr Yost is very charming and professional. She takes her time to explain things and is very patient. I will continue to see her and highly recommend her. This is a real review from as new patient. Thanks
Outstanding experience. Dr. Yost was very caring and provided a thorough review of my allergy history. She is a very good doctor.
Dr. Yost was very attentive to my concerns over the bug bites that were causing an allergic reaction. She performed the common allergy test and noted that I was particularly allergic to dust mites and cockroaches. As others have mentioned, appointments with Dr. Yost run very late. I had a 10:45 am apointment for what I presumed to be 30 minutes. I did not get seen until close to 11:45 am and left the office at 1:15 pm. This was my first experience with the allergist, so I can only compare it to other doctor/dentist visits.
Very intelligent, nice, good listener. Her office manager is nice, too. That said, I waited nearly 50 minutes before being seen.
Dr. Yost is very thorough and very kind. She really tries to help her patients and answers all questions.
This was the most amazing ZocDoc experience
Doctor Yost seems very capable. She is personable and truly caring. However, I am sorry to say that I did not have the best overall experience at her practice. I visited the Doctor twice: the first time, I waited for 45 minutes to be seen. The second time, I went in for a check up and a quick procedure that should have taken 15 minutes and took ~2hrs. Also, Her uptown office setup is not welcoming and seems disorganized. I think that the Doctor may need a solid office manager to help her with the business aspect of running a practice. Otherwise, she's quite good!
Will be seeing her again.
Very prompt and thorough service.
She was friendly, polite, and the wait time was only due to an emergency she was handling over the phone (And if I were on the other end of the call, I'd be extremely grateful for her time despite holding up other patients.) I'm going to continue treatments with Dr. Yost as a result of this great experience.
Doctor Sharon yost is a good allergist who is very through and really listens to you. Unfortunately she is overbooked and disorganized. If you are going to see her for an allergist test, expect to be there for at least 2.5 hours. For things as simple as weekly immunization shots take at least 30 mins to an hour wait. She really needs to get a nurse to do the shots which seems to be the reason for appointments going over time.
I will continue to see her although the process took a little long to get started and the doctor seemed disorganized and distracted. The office is also a bit shabby. That being said, she clearly cares about her patients and the exam is very thorough- if you want to know what's causing your discomfort, I definitely recommend her.
It is the busiest season for allergies, so it is understandable that there was a wait, especially since I asked to come on such short notice. They did a good job accommodating everyone. The doctor herself is very knowledgeable, thorough and pleasant.
She was thorough, knowledgable and reassuring! Left feeling I was on my to recovery. Already set up a follow up with her.
She was great. She was thorough and I feel like I got great care.
Really sketchy office space...
Dr. Yost is wonderful. Very attentive, caring, and takes the time to listen to your symptoms and discuss treatment. Did not feel rushed, she is very pleasant and informative. Her staff is professional and courteous. Great doctor!
She was very helpful and professional.
Great experience. Listened to what I had to say and took detailed notes. Wanted to know everything she could about my history to solve the "puzzle" that is my current allergy symptoms. Very thorough and thoughtful. Looking forward to my follow-up visit.
It was great. She was very helpful, and I'll go back.
Sharon was very caring, professional and helpful
