Dr. Bruce Krieger was welcomed into the FCCI family on October 1st, 2019. He has been serving the Jacksonville community for over 14 years.
Dr. Krieger attended medical school at the University of Pittsburgh. From there, he did Pulmonary/Critical Care training at the University of California, San Diego.
Dr. Krieger previously served as Past-President of the Florida Thoracic Society, the American College of Chest Physicians Florida Chapter, and the Florida Society of Critical Care Medicine.
His academic accomplishments include over 100 publications and multiple teaching awards including, the University of Miami Faculty Teaching Award, the AOA Faculty Award, and the George Paff Teaching Award on four occasions. He is considered a national Master Teacher and has been the Chairman of the American Lung Association of Florida Annual Pulmonary WinterCourse for 24 years and Past-Director of the American College of Chest Physicians Pulmonary Board Review Course.
Dr. Krieger’s current research interests are in the area of sepsis and knowledge translation.
