For me, first impressions are a major factor for me in choosing a doctor. My respect and confidence was influenced by Dr. C Dinlenc's very good eye contact, his knowledge in his special medical field, his clear communication and relaxed listening demeanor.

Nothing wrong about the visit, although, I always feel like doctors don’t take their time because they have a lot of patients so it’s kind of like ordering at Starbucks. If you don’t know your exact order by heart they will say “next”. At least Dr. Dinlenc was approachable and said I could send photos of whatever physical symptoms appeared.
Ps. When I asked one of the receptionists how yo pronounce Dr. Dinlenc’s first name. “Actually just Dr. Dinlenc.” I thought that was kind of pedantic and standoffish. Otherwise great.

I found Dr. Dinlenc to be very personable, and the young lady who did my EKG made me leave with a smile on my face. It was a lovely experience.

Sharp, intelligent, quick professional. I believe he's an MD-MBA.
Although not overly smiley or "warm," I felt that the doctor was open, receptive, had clear plan of action and recommendations, and was open to different opinions on the part of the patient. I would've felt very confident using him for surgery.
I ended up going to Memorial Sloan Kettering for open surgery, as opposed to robotic laparoscopic surgery Dr. Dinlenc recommended. But, if I had opted for laparoscopic surgery, I would have definitely used Dr. Dinlenc.

I saw Dr. Dinlenc years ago and was happy to have found him again. He had taken good care of me when I was 17. He is friendly and attentive and handled my situation with a very calming attitude that put my worries aside.

The doctor was clearly an expert, but I think too much so. He came in and diagnosed me within two minutes without listening to my specific case. Was not thorough with the examination. I'll be needing to go get a second opinion from another physician.
