I had my first appointment today and it went so smoothly. We're still fully in COVID so it was a telehealth appointment and it went very smoothly. She joined almost immediately at my appointment time and let me know that they handle everything at their office so I won't need to go anywhere else for my annual check ins. It was great!

In our efforts to protect the health of our valuable patients and promote isolation during the COVID19 pandemic, all our visits will be TeleHealth visits except for unusual circumstances through the month of April (this timeline will be updated frequently). Please complete all forms prior to your appointment so we are prepared for your visit if you are a new patient. The two options available at this time are via Skype or Facebook. Carissa completed her Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Nursing at De La Salle University in 2004 in the Philippines. In 2006, she began her nursing career in Jacksonville, Florida at Baptist Medical Center. She eventually moved to Glendale in 2011 and worked at USC-Verdugo Hills Hospital for more than 8 years as a charge nurse on the Telemetry Unit.
Her passion for nursing led her to pursue a degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Herzing University in Wisconsin. She received her certification from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, after interning in many settings with specialization in geriatrics, adults, pediatrics, and women’s health.
After more than 14 years of nursing experience, she explains “lack of healthcare providers is becoming a global issue, it remains a significant concern. I believe that I can make a difference in addressing that concern by providing quality, culturally-sensitive, and compassionate care to my patients”. She has a special interest in Aesthetics, Dermatology, and Women’s Health
