Dr. Carissa Meyer is a board certified, fellowship trained surgeon who excels in the latest advances in both operative and non-operative treatment of upper extremity disorders. A recognized expert in her field, she has authored multiple articles on hand and wrist injuries.
Dr. Meyer completed her residency training at the University of Maryland Medical Center and R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center, one of the busiest trauma centers in the country.

Unfortunately, we were not a good fit. Dr. Meyer's diagnosis was based on x-rays (which when I asked to see since I did not remember them ever being taken, could not be found). My records on the portal were incomplete and did not include details of visits within the last 4 months. It was an uncomfortable visit on so many counts. If you have any interest in your own health and wellness and strive to feel better, this may not be the best practitioner for you.

It was my first visit. I was called to the room less then 1min I finished all the paperwork. The doctor Meyer is a very profissional, knowledgeable person. She knows exactly what is my problem right after I explained my injury. It was very quick, comfortable, friendly and most important very helpful visit. Very nice, professional doctor. Highly recommend.

Dr. Meyer was friendly and professional. SHe examined my hands carefully and determined what the problem is. As there is nothing that can currently be done to "cure" the situation, she made reasonable suggestions for minimizing discomfort.

My beef with the office is having to fill out paperwork ( not the insurance info) that I already filled out in line. What is the point of filling it out on line and then doing it again in the office.
The receptionist at the desk could have been a bit friendlier. I work in a customer service business and I know a smile and kind word goes a long way. She failed !
Everyone else was very nice.
Would definitely recommend Dr. Meyer and the practice.
