Great doc, I was sitting in the waiting area and someone there told me that he was mean. He was quite the opposite he was kind, he lesson to my concern and made good recommendation to my diagnosis. I see him again in two weeks I have no doubt that the next visit will be as pleasant as the first.

Dr. Patel currently serves as a family physician at St. Lucie Medical Specialists, a role he has held for four years. Before coming to the US, Dr. Patel served for eight years as a practicing physician in Ahmedabad, northwest India. He earned graduate and post-graduate degrees in medicine, and completed a residency and prestigious senior residency at Gujarat University. He then devoted himself to an internship at V.S. General Hospital and allied Municipal Hospitals. Dr. Patel also served at local clinics in underserved areas.
In 1993, Dr. Patel relocated from India to the states. In order to gain his US certification, Dr. Patel furthered his training with yet another three-year residency in Internal Medicine at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in Queens, NY. These days, Dr. Patel stays engaged with his field through professional associations like the American Medical Association, and the American College of Physicians. He is also board-certified in Internal Medicine. Dr. Patel is happily married with two children, and he loves to spend his spare time with him. He also welcomes patients of different backgrounds, with fluency in Hindi, English, and Gujarati.
