About Dr. Nabil Barsoum
Dr. Barsoum graduated with honours from the Cairo University Faculty of Medicine, earning his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. He completed his postgraduate training in England and Canada, including a residency in Pediatrics at the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital. In 1976, he received postgraduate diplomas in Medicine and Surgery from the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons of England and the Royal College of Physicians of London. He became Board Certified in Family Medicine by the College of Family Physicians of Canada in 1986 and subsequently was named a Fellow of the Canadian College of Family Physicians and a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. In 1988, Dr. Barsoum also became board certified in Emergency Medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine. He is a Clinical Associate Professor in Family Medicine at Nova Southeastern University, where he teaches final-year medical students. Dr. Barsoum devotes a large part of his family practice to Anti-Aging, Integrated, and Alternative Medicine. He is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Pain Management, a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine.

I’ve never felt so heard in my entire life. Easiest & most productive appointment I’ve ever experienced. This office is tucked away in a plaza in Deerfield, but it really is a hidden gem.
Dr. Nabil has an absolutely wonderful staff! If you’re having back, neck, shoulder, muscle, joint, ANY pain please make the drive. Doctors that care like Dr. Nabil come once every lifetime. And you don’t have to be in pain anymore.

This Dr.'s office attempted to try and bill me for a "full" office visit even though I have insurance through my employer. I was told I didn't meet my deductible for the year, therefore I must pay for the full office visit. I confirmed with my insurance that what I was told by this Dr.'s office is in fact incorrect and in violation of the contract they have with the insurance company. I have since reported this office to my insurance company. Despicable!

Everyone in the office was very professional and helpful. I never felt rushed and all questions were listened to carefully and answered. All staff were friendly and social - seemed liked everyone really likes their work and cares for the patient. Options were discussed that made it comfortable to make decisions from. When I arrived the next day for follow-up on blood work, everything was prepared ahead of time and the nurse was very polite and pleasant to make the experience of providing a few test tubes of blood an easy experience. A big BRAVO to staff!

I think that his office took advantage of the fact that time was a concern for me and screwed me into paying an amount that should've been lowered by my GoBlue healthcare policy. I will be reaching out to BlueCrossBlueShield and seeing if this can be changed. Everybody in the office was nice and the Doctors/nurses were great. The front office, however, could be operating unethically.

Very friendly and efficient staff. The office flows well. Parking lot was full so that is a concern. Nurse listened, took notes, prescriptions to pharmacy as I was being treated, asked good questions and was patient when I remembered to add a missed point. Doctor friendly and concerned, liked him immediately.

I thought he seemed interested in my health problems. I may try to find a primary doctor closer to where I live. I will be ninety-two next month and driving that distance is a problem for me.

Went in for a minor cold and was surprised to get in right away. When I got to the office I didn't even have to wait. I filled out my paperwork and they took me right in. Everyone was so nice and they made me feel really comfortable. Not only am I feeling better, I'm glad I found this office!

Its great to have a Doctor in Florida who takes NY Workers Comp. since there are many , many , Ex-NY residents in Florida . Who no doubt also receive N.Y.S workers Comp.

Nabil did a good job, but the office is small, does not have the proper equipment needed to full provide good service. Limited with the blood testing equipment. was given the wrong directions to go to the Quest lab, was told that my name would be on the quest lab list and had to wait another hour before doing to blood test. All this time and having fasted for at least 12 hours before. Not very considerate of patients being weak and having to cross over a main road with lots of traffic. Not to mention the Quest lab had no juice/candy or something with some sugar so that I wouldn't pass out. Horrible feeling and bad organization. This office should have a shuttle and gurantee that patients are seen in a timely manner, esp if they have been fasting for over 12 hours.
