This was a video consult so some of the questions about the office are N/A. But from past experience with Dr. Sabharwal, I still gave them five stars. For the video consult, it was easy and all went smoothly with both the doctor and the supporting staff before and after the consult. I saw Dr. Sabharwal many years ago for several sleep studies and consultations, and never had a problem. They were always friendly and everything went smoothly.

My visit was timely, professional, and extremely informative. I feel very confident in the sleep treatment that is forthcoming.
Verified patient
Dr. Sabharwal is always very courteous and professional. I only wish she would spend just a little time with her patients as I feel like our appts are always too short. They often feel like they're less than 10 min.
Great. Very patient and knowledgeable.

I arrived early and gave all the information that was requested then proceeded to wait for about 20 minutes. 15 minutes past my appointment time I spoke with a person who asked all the customary questions and filled out some forms, I then was directed to wait for the doctor, which I did for another 15-20 minutes. Eventually when the doctor saw me at least 30 minutes after my appointment time, she asked me all the questions I already answered on the forms , we discussed options during which she heavily leaned on an in center study which I couldn't do because of my dog. In any event we settled on doing a home study, so I went to the counter to schedule all of that. At the counter, I asked the approximate cost, which I was told would be around $[X] because I had not met my deductible yet. Flash forward 10 days, I came to pick up the equipment. I asked the technician if I can just bring the equipment on the day of my follow up appointment, which she said I can do, I asked if I should tell the front desk so they can change my appointment dates, she said she'd take care of it and sent me on my way. Flash forward to my follow up appointment. The front desk person asked my name and said "you were a no show yesterday." I explained I didn't come because I was told that would be fine, but she continued to unhelpfully tell me how that can't be right because they need time to go over the results before having the follow up. This is logical of course, but the technician should have told me so. At any rate, one of the two front desk personnel continued to waste my time with accusatory language and tone, so I turned in the equipment and went home. They called me the next day to inform me of the results and recommend a home sleep study, which I refused and told them I was dissatisfied with their unprofessional attitude and intended to seek care somewhere else. Flash forward. They charged me $[Y] for the "no show." They apparently also later submitted two other claims, with the total about twice of what they initially told me it would cost. They took off the "no show" fee after 3 phone calls and hours of wasted time. Still have not heard back regarding other billing issues. Bottom line, these folks are unprofessional, and their billing practices are careless at best and unethical at worst.

This practice is all business and focused on setting up sleep studies. I'm sure this is where they generate their primary income so it makes sense. However, you may not feel like they are really interested in you or in it to really help you which is why my rating for bedside manner and overall satisfaction with the visit is just at average. Because you are limited as to alternatives for sleep specialists in this area, you may just have to hope for the best and continue working with this practice. I would also say that the location I visited is crowded/ messy and in some areas looks downright unclean in the bedrooms and office, so the thought of spending the night there made me uncomfortable. The doctor viewed my throat with the flashlight on her camera. This is just an example that when I looked at the machines/tools through various stages of the visit moving room to room, they seemed old or in the case of using the cell phone, not medically professional. (Didn't build confidence in their ability for attaining data using the latest technology.) The room the sleep study is supposed to be done in felt hot and you cannot manage the temperature preference on your own. She did say the temp at night is set at 69. I am a hot sleeper, so my concern is whether I would get any sleep for them to be able measure anything if I am too hot to sleep and already uncomfortable in a strange place not to mention being watched. She said they could get the info they need from 4 hours of sleep. I will most likely go forward with this sleep study even though absolutely no pricing was offered to me with or without insurance coverage. They seemed more intent on setting it up without giving me the information I needed to be financially informed or have any other kind of information about it to be honest. That bothered me that even a ballpark figure was not offered. Another reviewer on google or yelp had this same problem and was blindsided by the bill after the fact. I'm on a very fixed income so need this information. The practice's response to his complaint was that they had improved the form to be more transparent. I didn't get any form. I guess they are waiting until you actually set up the study, but at that point, it is a done deal. I want to know what my financial responsibility is BEFORE agreeing to the study. Like I mentioned before, the options for sleep specialists are limited, so I will probably go forward with this due to the fact that it is a medical need not a want. The doctor seems to know her stuff, so that is good even if the surroundings and tools did not incite confidence in the observer. But, I say this with great seriousness. I do expect the bedroom I am expected to sleep in to be at least as clean (not necessarily fancy, but clean) as a 3 star hotel room not a roadside motel room because you know you will be paying a significant fee. It just didn't seem sanitary. (Also, when I came in a dog came out with the owner. I do not know if the animal was allowed to stay with owner to help him/her sleep, but there's another reason I hope a good cleaning and vacuuming takes place for those of us with allergies. The carpeted floor in the sleep room was filthy so clearly had not been vacuumed at any recent time.) I guess you just have to do the best you can to bypass any trouble you have sleeping in a strange, stuffy, less than sanitary looking place and hope they can clock at least 4 hours so you can get the information and hopefully the follow up help you truly need instead of being offered what renders them the highest fee return. (I'm sorry, I am just giving my honest visual observation and impression based on the staff's behavior with hopes that it helps the practice improve in ways they may not notice or have considered before.) To be fair, I will admit that I do have allergies and therefore am a bit of a germaphobe. Maybe I should check out the other locations to see if they are in better kept condition. If you need an appointment even if you have a doctor's referral, it will still take a while to get an appointment. Maybe that is just at the location I chose and the fact that it was the first appointment, but it is something to be aware of.
Great doctor, very informative and nice. Front desk reception could use some help - the girl there seemed to be drowning in work but overall great office!

I have seen Dr Sabharwal for a little over a year now. She is the best sleep Doctor I have been to; very professional, knowledgable, current on new procedures, and takes the time to listen to me. Highly recommend this Doctor.

Very professional and very prompt!
A bit clinical but I appreciate that. I like when they're straightforward. Only problem was with this app. They didn't get any of my paperwork to check my insurance or the long list of meds I take. I had to rewrite most of the paperwork which is a bit painful. I left with them still not sure if my insurance covered. The app was supposed to save me time and pain.

She was very professional, knowledgeable, and engaging. My only complaint was regarding ZocDoc didn't send them my paperwork, despite getting a text and hour before saying they had. However, the receptionists' were very friendly and apologized saying there were technical issues.
