I found the office odd, there were no other clients or associates at all. She managed the door as well as each room in this very small office. It was disorganized but very friendly, as was she. She was extremely persistent in me having recurring appointments so frequent that she requested I return several times in one week. Which was also odd since I had a clean bill of health. I felt a little like I was being sold something in a retail shop and not at a medical professional’s office.

Dr Ostrager mainly works on neck & back pains and was not able to do anything for what I had. Very nice otherwise

To say that Cherry was unprepared for my visit is an understatement. I didn't pass judgement when nobody answered the doorbell, or even when she personally did my intake (instead of an assistant). What concerned me most was the disarray of her office and general disorganization. She was frazzled, and she asked me the same questions over and over again. I would not recommend her to anyone seeking sophisticated, professional care.

Probably the most uncomfortable doctors appointment I have ever experienced. Dr. Ostrager's bedside manner needs alot of work and she definitely needs a receptionist to handle insurance etc.
Jus a few of the many ODD things that happened during my visit:
Please do not excuse yourself to go and grab your coffee during my exam because YOU don't feel well. Seems pretty unhygienic to me. I don't think I've EVER had a doctors visit where the doctor was drinking coffee in the exam room.
Since my strep test that I came for took 5 days to get results, I asked her if I should go to work, since I might be contagious. Her response was “well, I'm not feeling well and I had to be here”. Are you kidding me????
Her overall bedside manner needs alot of work too. I wasn't confident in her being a doctor. She came across as unsure of herself at times.
I will not be returning to her as a patient.

Is always going the extra mile to make sure no stone is unturned. I never leave her office wandering what about this or that she is answers all of your questions on the spot. Her office is always spotless and convenient to get to. If I could clone Dr. Ostrager I certainly wood.

The worst doctor experience I have ever had. She is the only Dr. in her practice and she is the BILLING and Secretary Too! I signed up for an 8am appt so that I could go before working hours and didn't leave until 11am. In addition, I then got charged ridiculous amounts of money for the routine PHYSICAL that I went to. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

This md was one of best ! I have s lot of medical issues and she spent over two hours with me. We devised a plan and I know that I am in good hands for sure. The office was in a nice area!! Highly recommend!!

Dr. Ostrager was incredible. I wish I had met her earlier during my time here in New York. I was telling her how going to the hospital/ doctor gave me anxiety but she made me feel super comfortable. She is extremely attentive, thorough in questioning and procedures, extremely accepting, humorous, and down to earth. She was kind enough to call and persuade my insurance company to help cover me when they were resisting to help. Her technician was professional and friendly as well. I seriously wish I had met her earlier.

I expected a simple introduction to (and a followup appointment for) a new Primary Care Physician in East Midtown Manhattan. I walked out with a full package of references to new specialists (one referral for the very same afternoon), as well as a huge appreciation for the meaning of the concept of "added value."

everyone else is right - she does NOT have a front desk and does it herself. As a result, it’s extremely slow. also everything feels too pushy at her office. I went in for a cold and she was asking if I wanted a follow-up for allergy testing. Also extremely difficult to reach her office due to no front desk. would prefer more a more organized office since health reasons would require me to follow up with the doctor

Had a great experience. I came in as a new patient to Dr. Orstrager feeling a lot of pain and looking for immediate help and she got me in right away. She took all the time needed to gather all the right information and make sure she was able to properly help me. After determining I would have to see a specialist right away, she gave me a great referral and got me an appointment with the other doctor immediately. Thank you so much!
