Born and raised in Nigeria, she relocated to the United States to complete her undergraduate degree and further education. She received her medical training at Duke University. Her pediatric residency was completed at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. At the end of her residency she relocated to New Mexico, worked in private practice and then started her family and relocated to Georgia.
Dr. Uzo is passionate about supporting children by arming parents with the tools to confidently care for their young ones. She has a specific interest in newborn care, as well as helping introduce and build healthy lifestyle skills at all ages that will sustain children throughout their lives.
She lives in Suwanee with her husband and two young children. She enjoys to cook Nigerian and American cuisine and occasionally dabbles in the baking scene. In her spare time, you might find her at home with her family, rolling around with her preschoolers, in a kickboxing class, shopping online or reading up on the latest in pediatric care.
