Dr. Christian is very nice and professional. Non hurried, took time to explain the injury, drew the diagrams of the foot on paper and explained what can be expected. Where to worry and where not. He is one of the best sports injury doctors I have seen. Very nice and efficient staff and extremely accommodating. I would highly recommend Dr. Christian and his efficient clinic for anyone in need of a super competent and nice orthopedic doctor.

Dr. Foglar was born and raised in Switzerland and received his degree from the medical school at the University of Basel. He completed his orthopedic residency, as well as orthopedic research in Switzerland, and also spent time working in Ghana, West Africa. Dr. Foglar then joined Florida orthopedic Institute as a partner, but after 4 years of practicehe decided to move back to the Bay Area. Dr. Foglar has privileges at Good Samaritan, Los Gatos Community Hospital, O’Connor and Silicon Valley Surgery Center as well as being on the trauma team at Regional Medical Center in San Jose.

Dr. Foglar is a wonderful doctor. I'm coming from Kaiser, where every doctors' diagnosis for my shoulder (and every other ailment) was strain and stress, and their remedy was to rest, ice, and manage stress. Imagine going from that to a doctor that did a very thorough exam, ordered an MRI, discovered I'd been living with a tear in my shoulder for years, and sent me to an equally amazing office for physical therapy. I've already recommended him to two close friends. And to top it off, the nurses and staff at his office are great too!
Dr. Foglar deserves 6 stars out of 5!

If you have an orthopedic challenge, he is the doctor for the job.The only downside is follow up office visits require patience, wait times are long but his work is unsurpassed and he is tactful yet straight forward communicator with a senses of humor.

very good overall, even though i had to wait, it was worth my time. he was on vacation and it was his first day back in 2 weeks. so his office was packed. he saw to each and everyones needs nonetheless.
