Dr. Christie Simon-Waterman, DNP, CRNP, RN, MSN, WCC, DWC is an experienced and certified nurse practitioner with more than 26 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Her passion for serving others and insuring that quality and compassionate healthcare services are delivered is unmeasurable.
Her work experience includes but not limited to being a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) at one of Maryland’s most prestigious hospital. She also worked as a Director of Nursing/ Performance Improvement Manager at one of the largest sub-acute / long-term care companies in Maryland.
She performed and coordinated home care services as a home care nurse at one of Maryland’s most prestigious pediatric home care provider. Her critical care experience was obtained from her work as an emergency room nurse in Brooklyn New York.
Dr. Simon-Waterman received her DNP from University of Maryland where she was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She freely gives her time.
Her ability to keep abreast of local politics, participate in legislative agendas that shape nursing practices, her board memberships as well as partnerships with various nursing companies and associations, allows her the privilege of serving all age groups and underserved populations.
She also enjoys spending time with her husband, children, family, taking nature walks, traveling. There are times she enjoys doing nothing at all.
