awesome place with a great staff of professionals. Very friendly, prompt and thorough. My allergy test did not take the 2 hrs as planned, and I am happy with that. I will be back in the spring to get a sprint time allergy test done...thanks team :)

Dr.Christine James will be joining the Institute for Asthma and Allergy in September 2018. She is a native of Louisville, Kentucky, where she earned her medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. Dr.James then completed her Internal Medicine residency training at University Hospitals Case Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio in 2015.
She successfully finished her Allergy and Immunology fellowship at the University of Cincinnati and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in June 2018. During her time in fellowship, she was part of a NIH-sponsored T32 research training grant that allowed her to complete a number of scholarly activities, including 7 publications (two in review) and multiple abstracts and conference presentations. She also obtained a Master’s Degree in Clinical and Translational Research from the University of Cincinnati and participated in a number of clinical research trials for potential new therapies in the field of Allergy and Immunology.
Dr.James is currently a member of the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, and the American Thoracic Society. She is excited to join the Institute and be part of the Washington D.C. community!

Absolutely lovely Doctor and human! She was attentive to my needs, talked through options, and even helped me discover I was not allergic to a common medication my childhood PCP had told me was there. Loved the staff, so helpful and kind— funny and warm. A great staff and a wonderful office.
