About Jemirose Guansing
I aim to be my patients' biggest supporter. I hope to work as a team to discuss and create a plan of care together. As such, communication is very important to me when it comes to patient care. In terms of medicine, I particularly enjoy managing blood pressure, diabetes, and weight. However, I am also really passionate about mental health and feel that a well-rounded approach to patient care means ensuring patients are both physically and mentally healthy. I go by Jem and my pronouns are she, her, hers. I enjoy spending time with my partner as well as wrangling my four dogs. I received my education from Duke University Medical School and am board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). I have additional degrees in Obesity Management. My areas of expertise include hypertension management and weight management. I also speak Tagalog.
