I have been seeing Optometrists for over 25 years now and in ALL my experiences, I have never had a more thorough, attentive and detail-oriented exam. Dr. Frame was very patient and took his time with me. I will likely stick with him for all my OD needs and certainly refer any friends/family to his as well. Also, his staff was very helpful and accommodating.

Dr. Christopher Frame is the optometrist and owner of Family Eye Care of Elmwood Park. He was raised in Pittsburgh, PA and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Indiana University in Bloomington, IN. He continued his education at the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, where he was awarded a Trustees scholarship. After four years of optometry school, he graduated with a Doctor of Optometry degree. Before joining Family Eye Care of Elmwood Park, Dr. Frame practiced for a number of years in the Chicagoland area.
Dr. Frame has experience in fitting many types of contact lenses, co-managing laser vision surgery, and diagnosing and managing eye diseases, such as dry eye syndrome, cataracts, glaucoma, and macular degeneration. He is certified by the National Board Examiners of Optometry and licensed to diagnose and treat eye disease in the state of Illinois. In order to maintain the most up to date training, he attends continuing education courses regularly.
Dr. Frame resides in the Bucktown neighorhood of Chicago with his wife.

I thought he was polite, efficient and competent but seemed to be in a hurry, that's not to say I felt rushed but maybe he had a lot on his mind or something. His secretary was nice but a little spacey and I had to ask her to repeat what she said more than once because she spoke so quietly and mumbled a bit.

I told him It had been a long time since I had been to a a real eye Dr. That I always went to the chain eyeglass stores for my eye exams,not to take anything away from those Drs. Its just that I felt I was given a very complete exam and will be going back!!
