Dr. Capet was great. She was thoroughly and explained everything well. This clinic is huge, when you walk in there are like 8 people that can check you in. Also about 70% of the people in the waiting room had young children and babies with them. I waited 40 minutes before they called me back and hearing children cry and complain the whole time tempted me not to go back again. I like the actual doctor well enough that I'll tough out the waiting room since I only go once a year.

Dr. Capet spent her childhood in Tyler, TX before moving to Dallas to attend the University of Dallas in Irving. She received her Bachelor of Arts in History, graduating Cum Laude, while also competing in Track and Field as a Heptathlete. She then went on to obtain her medical degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center, in Houston, and continued her training at the University of Texas Southwestern/Parkland Memorial Hospital in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Capet then spent a year specializing in gynecologic surgery during an additional year of training in the Susan B. Frank Fellowship for Advanced Pelvic Surgery with Texas Health Resources – Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas.
Dr. Capet has a vast amount of experience in minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery, robotic surgery (i.e. Da Vinci Robotic Surgery), and vaginal reconstructive surgery.
Her outside interests include community outreach programs, a love of the outdoors, staying fit, boot camp, snowboarding, and running half marathons. She loves to travel and anything adventurous. She has studied abroad and lived in Rome. Her personality is outgoing and energetic. She is passionate about providing patients with the very latest in treatment options and individualizing patient care.

Dr Capet is exceptional. I had complete trust in her throughout to keep me and my baby as healthy and happy as possible. Not only that, she managed to make us feel like we were the first people ever to embark on this amazing journey – my husband and I left every appointment feeling completely secure and like baby-growing superstars. This was one of the best doctor appointments I've had in the past few years. Dr. Capet actually listened to the complaints I had regarding my health and gave suggestions on who to see and how to improve it. She was great, could have been a bit more gentle with the pelvic exam. It was quite fast which I appreciated and very professional, straight to the point. She's a BOSS, and I'm not going to anyone but her as long as I live in the area.
My appointment time did get pushed back because she had to deliver a baby that decided to make an early appearance .. but I'm pretty positive that's an acceptable excuse,haha !
Overall: she listens and thinks quickly. If you know you need something from her, say it multiple times so it doesn't get lost in conversation.

When I entered the office, I was invited into my appointment on time. However, everything was a bit rushed and as a new patient I felt confused. I felt kind of hurried the whole time. Dr. Capet herself seemed overworked and kind of stressed out and in a rush. I honestly felt like I was annoying her with my questions. Although, I really would like to give it a chance because I am convinced she has an idea about what she is doing.

The only reason why the wait time was so long was because there was an emergency. They were super apologetic, so it was fine. I would really recommend Dr. Christy Capet! The actual appointment took less then 10 minutes.

I really enjoyed Dr. Capet and felt that she was very informative and understanding. She was patient and wanted to make sure that I received the best medical attention. Only downside was the long wait from when the nurse left until Dr. Capet arrived, but all in all a good visit.

I don't understand all the positive reviews for Dr. Capet. I found her to be so abrasive and unbelievably aggressive. She was firing questions at me as if I were on trial for something. I felt interrogators and defensive as if I had done something wrong...in the doctor's office...with my legs in the air. I literally started crying she had me so rattled. On top of it she failed to order the tests I specifically requested and tested so the entire visit was a giant waste of time and money. When I relayed my experience to my pcp, who referred me, he noted that other patients had told him the same thing about Dr. Capet, and said that he would have stop referring patients to her. It was one of the top two worst experiences I've had with a doctor in my 40 years. I switched to another doctor at AAOBGYN and absolutely love her! She is knowledgable, respectful, she listens, and she is kind. Dr. Capet needs to learn some bedside manners and understand that her patients are intelligent people who are often dealing with some frightening health concerns and we deserve respect and we deserve her kindness and respect. We aren't suspects in a murder trial; we're obgyn patients. Her exam room shouldn't feel like an NYPD Blue interrogation room once she enters it.
