It was my first visit at Dr.Chang's office, she is wonderful, very friendly, gave me enough time to explain my health issue (unlike some doctors who just rush and don't even listen to all the problems you have to explain)...going to see her for follow up,,,would recommend her to a friend in need...

Dr. Chang offers a variety of different eye-care services including cataract evaluation, comprehensive eye examinations (glasses and contact lenses), diabetic eye disease screenings and related laser treatments, glaucoma management and variety of in-office minor surgeries.
Dr. Claire Chang obtained M.D. degree from Baylor College of Medicine.
She completed her internship in Internal Medicine at Alton Oshner Foundation and Ophthalmology residency training at LSU Eye Center.

The doctor was running late. My appointment didn't start until an hour later! Since this was my first time seeing this doctor, I wasn't sure if this was an ongoing problem. The front office also had issues accessing my ZocDoc information. My forms were eventually located and printed out. The doctor and staff were very efficient and explained every detail of the outcome of my examination.

I choose this doctor because she speaks Chinese Mandarin and reviews seem to be positive. I was there to have annual vision checkup. She suggested me to have a couple of tests. Right after I told her I need sometime to think about it, she started to talk to me in English, no more Mandarin. Even though I have no problem understanding her English with accent, it was really weird because I spoke to her in Mandarin during the whole appointment. And she gave me attitude after that, no composure at all. This is my first time seeing this doctor. and the experience was awful as you can tell. No matter what is going on in your private life, just do not bring it to work. Never make your patient suffer! The nurses are pretty nice though. Especially Lily, she was very attentive and considerate.

Dr. Chang is great! It is a small, one doc office so you don't feel like cattle being herded around. She gives you her full attention and will explain when you ask. Staff is not always clear to understand though usually friendly.

I had a lump in my eye and Dr Chang diagnosed it and took care of the problem immediately with an in office procedure. It has been over 7 hours and my eyes are healing well with no discomfort. I would recommend her.
