I thought she was very thorough and pleasant. She made me feel very comfortable and didn't miss addressing any of my concerns. I'm new to Austin, and she gave me referrals to other needed professionals. I feel lucky to have found someone I can related to on my first try from ZocDoc.

Dr. Claudia Legere was born in Pennsylvania and raised in Arizona. She attended the University of California at Berkeley where she graduated with a BA in Art History and researched the kinematics of gecko feet. While at Berkeley she met her husband Hank in tennis class. They moved to New York and she completed her post-bachelor pre-medical degree at Columbia University while researching at St. Lukes Obesity Research Center. Dr. Legere then returned to California to attend medical school at The University of California Irvine where she won a prestigious academic achievement award. She subsequently completed her residency in Family Medicine at Tufts University, where she received a teaching award in pediatrics. She has authored several articles in medical journals and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Legere enjoys treating patients of all ages and has a particular interest in adolescent health.
Dr. Legere and her two daughters' enjoy hiking, biking and playing in the hills around Steiner Ranch.

I researched for hours trying to find the right doctor with a good bedside manner. After reading reviews I chose Claudia Legere. I went to her for something that was a sensitive subject for me and after not going to the doctor for several years; I was nervous. Dr. Legere made me feel comfortable and was very easy for me to talk to. She was great at communicating with me and getting me everything I needed for treatment. Not only that but, the staff there was very nice and quick. I would definitely recommend her for anyone. If you want a doctor who is actually going to care about you and your health, I can tell you after just one visit, Claudia Legere is the doctor for you.

I have been going to Dr. Legere for about 2 years now. She has a wonderful personality and is very knowledgeable. She truly cares about her patients and is honest yet polite with her recommendations. I will never change my primary care doctor. Her office is also full service and I am able to have many labs and tests done in office without having to be referred out. It's SUPER convenient.

I was called by this office to say I needed a f/u appt. when I got there, they said there was a glitch with my insurance, but the secretary called & straightened it out. I re-scheduled to meet my insurance requirement, but the doctor asked me why I was here today & I said that your office called ME to be seen. then she said it was probably an automated call, which she has no control over. then who has control over these calls? if I really didn't need to be seen today, then why waste my time or the doctor's time, although they are going to see me in 2 weeks.

Dr. Legere explains research and medications very well. She always tells you why you should have certain tests run or take certain medications. I feel that she is very supportive and encouraging to her patients and tries to counsel us to have a healthier lifestyle.

This was only my second visit and she impressed me again. She comes across as very professional, knowledgable and experienced, but her approach is very down-to-earth, logical and she clearly explains her opinions in simple terms. She is thorough and ends the visit with, "what other questions do you have or is there anything else we need to discuss".
