I have experience working with a broad range of psychiatric issues and see patients for both psychotherapy and for medication management and work collaboratively with other therapists for the psychopharmacological treatment of their patient. My approach reflects an integration of training and experience with psychodynamic, gestalt, DBT/CBT and mindfulness . I work with adult clients who seek relief from a wide variety of issues such as depression, sadness, grief and anxiety.
I start with a thorough assessment to determine the appropriate course of treatment. As a therapist my focus is on meeting the person where he/she is at, helping them to better understand the factors that affect them and ways to manage feeling states. I integrate principles of mindfulness and acceptance throughout my work.
I combine psychotherapy and psychopharmacology in a setting that is relaxed and safe at an affordable fee structure.
