"Some folks around here might call me a lifer because my first experience here was as a medical student. My association continued with my training in the Residency program and after graduation I joined this great organization as a faculty member. Along with caring for my patients I am now also the Associate Director of the Residency program at Long Beach Memorial." Dr. Herzog is board certified in family medicine. I have a disabled son with an overabundance of medical problems and finding him a doctor who actually treats him like a person instead of a guinea pig has been difficult! We don't have the problem here. Cynthia Herzog and all of her staff seem to sincerely care about our son and his medical needs. She also does an excellent job of explaining medical conditions and procedures, as well as listening to our opinions before making any major decision on medications or experimental procedures. We feel lucky to have her!
