About Dr. Cynthia P Bernal

Cynthia P. Bernal, MD, FACOG, is a gynecologist and obstetrician with Orlando Health Physician Associates, where her focus is minimally invasive procedures and robotic surgery. Her areas of interest include the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases and disorders that affect women such as endometriosis, adnexal masses, uterine fibroids, postmenopausal symptoms and high-risk obstetrics. Dr. Bernal earned her medical degree from Ross University of Medicine in Portsmouth, Dominica. She completed her bachelor of science degree in human biology at the University of Albany in New York, where she was recognized as a Ronald McNair Program Scholar by Albany Medical College. Dr. Bernal completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Rochester General Hospital in New York. During this time she earned her certification in da Vinci® robotic-assisted surgery and was recognized with the Chief Resident Award in minimally invasive gynecology. She also served as a clinical associate professor of obstetrics and gynecology at Stony Brook Hospital School of Medicine in New York, and participated in international medical missions to Ecuador and South Africa. Dr. Bernal is a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG) and is fluent in both English and Spanish.

I had an Amazing experience! Such friendly staff, barely even had to wait to see the doctor. I was very nervous but the staff made me feel comfortable. The doctor really listened to me and made me feel like she cared. Will definitely keep going to her.

When I arrived there was no one at the front desk. Once they finally came to the desk I had to refill out every form I already had done online. The dr never reviewed the medical history forms and even though I clearly communicated verbally and on the written forms I was then harassed for several days following my visit to schedule a test that I clearly stated in written and verbal forms that I had just had done a month ago! The dr was also very stern that I should not follow my pcp drs plan but rather hers even though I never asked her opinion or gave any reason for her to believe that I wasn’t completely comfortable with my pcp drs care!

Saw a very Good environment, happy people working, every one we're happy and enjoying what they where doing, very good custumer service, they do care about their patients. I'm a new patient and I like how Dr. Bernal took the time to answer all my questions. Front desk I give them A+ they are happy people and enjoy what they do. I haven't seen other doctores office front desk like this. ( Dr. Bernal front desk should train other offices).
