About Victoria Smith
Victoria Rotella, WHNP-BC, is a licensed, Board-certified Women's Health Nurse Practitioner. She was born in Dix Hills and currently lives in Levittown. Victoria received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Rhode Island. Though she always had a passion for Women's Health, she began her nursing career at the bedside in an Oncology/Medical-Surgical unit. She ultimately earned her Master of Science in Women's Health Nursing from the State University of New York, Stony Brook, in 2016. Since then, she has worked as a nurse practitioner at Planned Parenthood and the Katz-Long Island Jewish Hospital postpartum unit. Outside of nursing, Victoria continues to advocate for a healthy lifestyle through her work as a fitness instructor.

I had been experiencing a lot of discomfort/pain lately that I wasn’t sure if I should mention at my checkup, since previous providers ((not at this practice)) had been kind of dismissive of menstrual discomfort and treated it as just something to be expected. My discomfort was taken seriously, AND they got me in for an ultrasound that same visit to make sure it wasn’t anything major. When they found polyps and a cyst, they scheduled me for a saline ultrasound to fully investigate the situation (which was also done compassionately and with minimal discomfort). Everyone there was great, listened to my concerns, and explained what was going on so that I understood what was going on without a medical background. I really appreciated my pain being taken seriously and the bedside manner.

the office was clean as well as the bathrooms and the service was A1. when i got there the wait was not long till i was seen. i was going through a miscarriage at the moment and the staff was super understanding and kind. they were very clear with the information they gave me and they made sure i was comfortable. i would recommend anyone to this facility, i know when it comes time i am pregnant this will be the place i go to. thank you to the staff for the great experience.

Super happy with this office! My original provider recently left the field and I was determined to find a place that I felt comfortable with (and would get me in in less than a few months!) The Women’s Center did just that and more. Definitely worth checking out!

Looking for a new OBGYN and stumbled across Dr. Victoria. She’s amazing and makes you feel super comfortable! Very sweet doctor. Staff was nice as well, and office was super clean. Would definitely recommend to others.

Dr. Smith was absolutely amazing. She has REALLY good bedside manner and makes you feel so comfortable. And she completely listened when I said I wanted to go over birth control options. She thoroughly told me every one of them and together we were able to navigate the best for me. She was the type to completely listen, not judge/ push her opinion on you and how she can help you. Didn’t even feel the Pap smear-super gentle. 10/10 recommend.

I did not feel like Victoria took the time to listen and hear what I was experiencing and what my goal was, based on her questions/responses. There was no compassion for symptoms of menopause, not sleeping & irritability. I felt very dismissed. I tried to advocate for myself for birth control in lieu of an over the counter recommendation and was met with hostility. I prefer a obgyn that has compassion and responds to their patient’s concerns by hearing them first, instead of pushing their own agenda.
