Dr. Cynthia Gonzalez was born and raised in a small border town in South Texas. She became interested in family medicine after shadowing a family medicine physician in middle school.
She completed her training in Texas. She earned a Bachelor’s in Pre-med Biology from UT Pan American in Edinburg, Texas, and attended medical school at Texas Tech University of Health Center in Lubbock, Texas. She then completed her residency at Valley Baptist Family Medical Center in the Rio Grande Valley. She dedicated several years to caring for patients in underserved rural communities. She is board certified in Family Medicine and cares for all ages from newborn to elderly.
Dr. Gonzalez chose Direct Primary Care because she wants the best for her patients - taking time to get to know them and working with them to achieve their best health. She believes preventative care and a holistic approach are vital to improving a patient’s health and quality of life. She decided to join CiboloFM to foster long-lasting relationships with her patients and provide well-rounded, high-quality patient care.
Dr. Gonzalez enjoys hiking, taking dance classes, and traveling. She also enjoys watching Korean dramas with her cats, Prince, Little Princess, and The Queen.
