Dr. Wang is thoughtful, caring, and effective. I have been a patient of Dr. Wang for the past 7 months. During my search for a psychiatrist, all of the Drs I spoke with led with a focus on medication and medication management. Dr. Wang was the only one who took time to listen to my concerns and work within my wishes to start with a therapy approach before discussing medication. During sessions, she is objective and straightforward with her evaluation of what she hears and observes. She is upfront about expectations and holds me accountable to do my “homework” in preparation for our weekly sessions.
I’ve grown a lot during my time with Dr. Wang. I know my journey will not be easy, but with her guidance and support of my goals, I will get there. I would highly recommend Dr. Wang.

Dr. Wang is co-founder of RIVIA Mind, a group practice that focuses on delivering the best evidence-based combined treatment to the insured population. Dr. Wang’s role is in management, providing clinical supervision and extensive education to clinical staff. Her focus on education ensures high quality of care is delivered to each and every one of RIVIA’s patients.
Dr. Wang graduated on the Dean’s Honors List from the University of California, Berkeley. She pursued an M.D. at Ben Gurion University, affiliated with Columbia Medical Center, where she was elected class representative and received the Dean’s List Honor-Distinguished Service Award. Afterward, Dr. Wang completed her psychiatry residency training at Harvard Medical School, during which she also completed a fellowship in psychodynamic psychotherapy at the Boston Psychoanalytic Society and Institute.
Dr. Wang has presented her work at local, national, and international conferences, and co-authored book chapters and peer-reviewed articles. She continues to be a passionate advocate for minority mental health and emotional wellness.

I would highly recommend Dr. Wang to anyone seeking psych treatment. I saw two psychiatrists and ended up deciding to keep seeing her. After I explained my concerns, she went straight into asking the right questions to determine what would work best for me. Dr. Wang was very thoughtful and helpful in how she would explain things to me and you can tell she is someone who knows what she is doing. I have been seeing her for a few months now and her initial treatment plan has been working and I've seen progress. She discussed long term strategy with me and we have made adjustments over time to find the right balance for me.
Dr. Wang makes me feel comfortable opening up and simultaneously confident in her treatment plan.I have been actively recommending her to my friends.

I have had a very bad experience with psychiatrists in the past. I thought being able to talk to a psychiatrist about my issues, but also get help with a good medication plan wasn't possible. Dr. Wang listened to me took her time went over my history, and I felt like she was listening to me the whole time. SHe is so easy to talk to and I am really confident about my future with her. I'm looking forward to our next appointment. She is a good Dr. among so many terrible ones. Could not recommend her more.

She was very thorough, attentive, and caring. I really felt that she listened and discussed a path that would lead to the greatest benefit to help me achieve my ultimate goal. I find that there are a lot of bad doctors in New York and I am happy to say she is not one of them! I highly recommend her. Her consultation left me feeling excited to develop an ongoing relationship with her in helping me overcome my insecurities. Besides she is Harvard top notch!

I felt like Dr. Wang has supported me through all my problems. She made me feel safe and it was easy to talk to her. Dr. Wang is very experience and helped me through a period when I felt suicidal. She gave me hope about my medications and further treatment options.

My visit with Dr. Wang has always been enjoyable. She is highly professional. I feel that I am well taken care of medically and psychiatrically. I trust her and I have probably told her things that no one else in the world knows about. I am so glad to have had her as a doctor. I am sad to say good bye to her since she is leaving Boston and moving to New York! Boston's loss is new York's gain!

I found my visits very rewarding. Dr. Wang is very professional and treats me with great respect. I gained a lot of knowledge from talking to her about my problems. I found my experience to be overwhelmingly positive. It was an experience of a life time for me. I feel that she has a great future and people should be appreciate a great doctor!

I first met Dr. Wang 2 years ago when I was in a very low phase of my life. Slowly, she helped to turn my life around. This past year, I got married and brought a house. She was there for me all along the way. I always look forward to my appointment with Dr. Wang. She genuinely cares about her patients, and her gentle manners made it very easy for me to open up. She is one of the best doctors I have ever had.

I felt very comfortable with Dr. Wang. She explained everything very well, so I felt confident in the treatment she provided. She always made the time for me and would never cut a session short. She was able to unlock things from me that no other doctor was able to get because of our connection. She was probably the best doctor I've ever had at the VA. It was a good connection right away, and I really appreciated the two years of treatment I had with her.

Dr. Wang made it possible for me to sleep at night, which changed my life. I had trouble sleeping after my wife passed away, but with medication and therapy, I slowly came out of the depression. I have Dr. Wang to thank for that. I am very lucky to have had her as my doctor!
