Born and raised in San Antonio Texas where he graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1983. He attended and received his undergraduate degree from St. Mary’s University in 1987. Following his undergraduate completion, Dr. Kellum attended medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio where he graduated in 1991.
Dr. Kellum successfully completed his Family Practice Residency at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth in 1994. Dr. Kellum is married and he has four sons. In his spare time, Dr. Kellum enjoys golf and spending time with his family.

The wait is bad and getting an appointment with him is worst. He listens but don't really help. His brother the Obgyn is so much better. Maybe it's just me because I have a lot of health issues. The PAs are good too.

Dr. Kellum has been my ONLY Doctor since 2000. I just love him and I drive 2 1/2 hrs to get to his office. I will never have another doctor even though you have to wait 2 hrs to see him. He's worth it.

Loved Dr Kellum! However the wait time is totally ridiculous. They seriously need to figure out how to move patients quicker. Our appt was at 3:45 and we left the office at 6:30.

One of THE best doctors I have met. Actually listened to me and took MY opinion about MY health in to consideration. The wait time was 1 hour and 57 min,but atleast you have the chance to speak with someone who is going to help you get back to being you!

Wait was longer than expected. There was only a couple of people waiting before me but it took an hour from my appointment time (I was 15 minutes early) to be seen. Medical Assistant wasn't friendly but did her job well. Medical Assistant did repeat questions from ZocDoc and wasn't sure how to retrieve the information--I guess this is new. Dr. Kellum is great--he is very positive and caring. Laboratory staff was excellent.

I waited for three weeks for this appointment that turned out to be a different time than what I scheduled. I had to rush to the appointment before I could eat lunch, and waited two hours before I was seen. Don't even get me started on the ten minute conversation that was called my "appointment."

Dr. Kellum is always a pleasure to see, but the wait time is horrific! 3 hours of my day spent on an appointment that I made two weeks ago for a medication refill seems a bit ridiculous! I am just super glad I wasn't ill or have a sick child!

If you have lot's of time on your hands this is the Dr. for you. Went in 30 min. early to make sure all my paperwork was in order. I spent about 30 min. online here filling out paper work (not necessary) then another 30 min. filling out the same paperwork at office. It was 3 hours after my appointment time before I saw the Doctor. It appeared to me that appointments were over booked.Thinking that someone that has been in practice this long would handle business a lot more efficient. Not Impressed!
