Dr. Tate is a board-certified OB/GYN who previously practiced in Arlington before moving to Mississippi and is now pleased to return to the Fort Worth area. He earned his Bachelor of Science in biology at the University of Texas at Arlington and his Doctor of Medicine at Texas Tech School of Medicine in Lubbock. His residency in OB/GYN was completed at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, where he was twice awarded the Pritchard Prize for Research.
His memberships include the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, American Medical Association, Tarrant County Medical Society and Texas Association of Obstetrics and Gynecology. When not providing care for his patients at Fort Worth Female Health Associates, Dr. Tate likes to golf, jog, play basketball, read and spend time with his wife, Cindi, and their children, Regan and Carson.

Dr. Tate was kind, patient and informative. Dr. Kidd (resident) was also very kind and helpful. Dr. Kidd did the examination and listened to all my questions and then conferred with Dr. Tate. Overall, my first visit was a great experience.

Dr. Tate is fantastic! I just had my first visit with him and he went above and beyond on all fronts. He answered and encouraged questions about female AND general health. He also found a creative solution to a personal issue that no one had offered to me before. He is incredibly patient and kind. A+ doctor!

The office staff was awesome and I just had a little issue with my appointment time.... I scheduled online and it didn't show up on their computer, but the office honored my appt time and seen me as quickly as possible. The lady that took my vitals and stood in on the appt was great. She was cheerful and talkative. She made me feel welcomed and relaxed. Dr. Tate was friendly and informative. He asked me the usual questions along with spending a little time getting to know me and my family. I was impressed with the quality of care I received. Thanks to Dr. Tate and all his staff!
