The PA and staff were great but the wait time was unacceptable. I asked when my appointment was and they confirmed 1pm but failed to call me and tell me it had been moved to 1:40pm. The receptionist apologized and took ownership. Overall it was a good experience and I will return.

I felt VERY comfortable talking to Dr. Scherer. He didn't make me feel foolish, or like a child, as other doctors have in the past. I appreciate his candor. He listened to me and made recommendations for my specific problems. Thank you, Dr. Scherer.

Welcome to the office of Dr. Darrin D. Scherer. We would like to thank you for expressing interest in our practice. Dr. Scherer is a 1997 graduate of the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri and a year 2000 graduate of St. Josephs's Hospital Family Practice Residency here in Phoenix. After completing his residency, Dr. Scherer practiced in rural Texas for two years before returning to Goodyear, Arizona to begin private practice in November 2002. Our mission is to provide quality medical care in a friendly and caring environment to all individuals and families. Listening to your questions and concerns is our top priorty. Dr. Scherer is a native of Illinois and a veteran of the United States Army. He currently serves as the primary care team physician to the Cincinnati Reds Major League Baseball Club's training facility in Goodyear.
