Dr. Gurdev Singh, MD, is a compassionate and highly trained primary care physician, who is board certified in Internal Medicine and Clinical Informatics. He earned his medical degree from a prestigious institution in Punjab, India, before moving to the United States.
Dr. Singh advanced his medical training with an Internal Medicine residency at the renowned Geisinger Medical Center in Pennsylvania, followed by a fellowship at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York. Since 2005, he has been serving the Phoenix community with unwavering commitment and expertise.
A staunch advocate of the population health model, Dr. Singh strongly believes in the sanctity of the physician-patient relationship as essential for improving the quality of care and patient outcomes. Recognizing the unmet need for improved care for patients with chronic illnesses, he launched Ekom Medical in 2024. His goal is to create a respectful and welcoming environment for his patients, dedicated to enhancing patient experience and quality of care in primary care.

One of the BEST primary care experiences I’ve ever had — Dr. Gurdev Singh and the entire Ekom Medical team are exceptional.
I found Dr. Gurdev Singh, MD on ZocDoc while looking for a new primary care doctor, and I am SO glad I chose this facility. This was my first visit, and it has become one of the best healthcare experiences I’ve had in Arizona.
Dr. Gurdev Singh is an incredible doctor.

• Someone who truly LISTENS
He did not rush a single moment. He let me talk, asked questions, understood my concerns, and wrote everything down carefully. Dr. Gurdev Singh is ideal primary care doctor. First, his staff and him gather all necessary information. Then Dr. Gurdev Singh saw me and had all the time to answer all questions. Third, he made a thorough check. Earlier I had a primary care doctor who retired. So, I was looking for a new primary care doctor and found Dr. Gurdev Singh through zocdoc. It was a perfect pick. You need a primary care doctor who is thorough, highly knowledgeable, has time for the patient, and does thorough check. Definitely loved Dr. Singh. He was very thorough, listened, and addressed all my concerns and health issues. He even took extra steps to refer me to other specialist to ensure I got the care I needed.
My only tiny, tiny complaint I have was the girl in the front desk. She was super sweet it just seemed like I had to repeat myself multiple times for her to get what I was saying correctly and even ask her to make sure she got the information right. It’s a small complaint but it did cause her to schedule my future appointment incorrectly and just make my experience a little weary that those little mistakes would cause a bigger one later.

I really like Dr. Singh. I felt he listened to me and if he didn’t agree with me, he explained why and then he gave me next steps. I don’t want to sound like he was confrontational because he was not, but I can over think and he actually made me feel better by letting me know that we’ll figure things out step by step. I am pleased with his service and his MA was great as well. I highly recommend.
