An amazing Dr. I never had a Dr make me feel like he really cared. I kept giving short answers to his questions as I expected him to want me in and out of his office in a very short period of time, but he kept probing for more. He really cared to know about my past medical history and how he could best address any current concerns I had. Visited for some personal issues and he displayed great bedside manner. My family and I have been Dr. Abrams' patients for approximately 20 years. During that time, Dr. Abrams has guided our family to good health. Approximately 3 months ago my mother was hospitalized two different times and of course, Dr. Abrams visited her several times in the hospital.
After the second hospitalization, Dr. Abrams realized that it was very difficult for my mother to go to his office for a follow-up visit. He decided that he would make a "home visit" to her short term rehabilitation facility. However, I was out of town at the time of the appointment, so Dr. Abrams made it possible for me to be included in the visit by sending me a link to the video conference. I downloaded the link and at the appointed time, we had a three-way visit. Prior to the visit, his nurse, Veronica and I practiced the video chat to ensure that it would be smooth at the appointed time. I was able to see Dr. Abrams and my mother, just as if we were all together, in the same room, for the appointment. The appointment unfolded just like any other office appointment, however, it was all done virtually! Together we discussed many questions, answers, and solutions to my mother's medical issues.
I am grateful that Dr. Abrams is so forward thinking and has the ability to use this type of technology in his practice. I feel it is important and necessary to be able to incorporate all of the available 21st century technology to enhance our lives. Dr. Abrams is using this technology to his best advantage. He is definitely on the cutting edge'

I have been a patient of Dr. Abrams for the past 15 yrs. He has always been there for me with every medical crisis I have encountered. When I retired to the desert, I was concerned about losing him as my physician but because he is always striving to continue keeping up the new technology, I have been able to retain him thru telemedicine. We can see each other, we converse via the computer and I feel like I was in the office, and I didn't have to travel 2 hours to fight traffic. I hope your experience with this new technology that he offers will be beneficial to you as it has to me.
