Dr. Flood joined Caduceus after many years of private practice in San Diego and academic practice at the University of Missouri. There, he treated patients, taught surgical skills to residents, and published several research papers. He graduated first in his class from the University of Kansas Medical School. He did an internship at UCSD, residency at the University of Kansas and then a Knee and Sports Medicine Fellowship in San Diego. He is certified in both General and Sports Medicine by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Flood is experienced with a wide variety of surgeries including joint replacements, arthroscopic surgeries, fractures, and common hand procedures. He has served as a team physician for the San Diego Chargers, San Diego Sockers, and The University of Missouri. He has been an orthopaedic consultant for the U.S. Olympic Training Center in San Diego and for the Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton. Dr. Flood sees patients at Caduceus Specialty in Yorba Linda.
