Everyone was nice but it took forever to be seen. And I had to go somewhere else to get labs done. Waste of time
He is located within my neighborhood and my father was a patient under his care in the past. Very personable.

Wait time was unacceptable. 45min to get my BP checked and another 40-45mjn just to be seen. Scheduled an appt to see a specific doc and was seen by a different doc.

Not the best. I waited about an hour and a half in a freezing cold waiting room where the receptionist would yell out our names hoping we'd hear over the AC/TV noise, rather than walking around the desk to get our attention. Then was not offered an apology for the wait/thank you for my patience.. nothing. Once I finally got to see the doctor, I could barely understand his thick accent and repetitive phrases that come from someone learning a new language. I respect those working to become fluent in English and I fully understand how difficult the language is, but there were moments where it was clear we were misunderstanding each other, and I didn't know how to help the situation. He said the phrase to me (not paraphrasing at all) "I don't like my patients to abuse antibiotics, so I'm only going to prescribe over the counter and topical things for you." I have never stepped foot in this place before, what makes you assume I will abuse my antibiotics? I was so caught off guard by that flagrant assumption, I didn't have the capacity to argue at the time. Meanwhile, I buy what he advised I get (Clariton, Vitamin C, and Cough syrup) which was just different versions of what I was already taking for 4 days, then continued getting worse with what I knew was a sinus infection (I told him I've had many in the past and it was the exact same list of symptoms, but he ignored me). After being sick a solid 7 days, I ended up having to go somewhere else for continued help. Waste of time and energy. Never going back to Gomez. Such a shame, since it's down the block from my apt.

The wait is pretty lengthy, but the guy who saw me (not Gomez) was spectacular. Very efficient, friendly, and professional. I highly recommend this office, but plan on extra time.
