Patient reviews for Dr. David Johnson
David has been my doctor for almost 40 years and he is still the best!
Dr. Johnson is an excellent doctor and surgeon who evaluates each patient's situation and determines the best course of action. I trust and have ultimate confidence in his judgment regarding my treatment plan, which does not include surgery at this time.
My visit went very well. I came out feeling more comfortable than when I went in. I am pleased with the Plan of Care that was recommended and plan on following through.
Had my knee replaced by Dr. Johnson. He's an excellent doctor; takes the time to talk and has a wonderful bedside manner. Could not recommend him more highly.
I have seen this doctor before, and he has always been professional.
Dr. Johnson was EXCELLENT...personable and professional...he took his time to explain things with clarity...at one point I had the feeling I was his only patient.
Efficient, intelligent, and dedicated to finding a solution!
Dr. Johnson assessed me correctly right from the beginning. Even before getting an xray or MRI. He is astute and a good diagnostician. In addition, he is very personable and answers all questions thoughtfully and respectfully. I would highly recommend him!
He spent a small amount of time with me and then requested an MRI
Dr. Johnson was prompt, thorough, patient and knowledgeable. He answered all my questions and put me at ease about a nagging knee injury as he went over my MRI and explained what was going on. Highly recommended doctor.
Dr. David Johnson is very knowledgeable, patient and very professional. He listened & answered my question. Highly recommend Dr David Johnson.
Professional in every way. The staff was extremely courteous.
Dr. Johnson is so caring! He really listens to concerns and goes out of his way to do what is right by his patients.
The office staff were courteous and welcoming. Dr. Johnson is professional, explains and demonstrates exercises needed. I feel very confident in his diagnosis and treatment.
Well informed friendly doctor who listens well and adjusts to the patient.
He was very efficient, responsive, and caring. Listened well and diagnosed perfectly!
Friendly but direct - got to my issue quickly, and knew what to do and the right drug to prescribe. Very impressed.
I've been seeing Dr. Johnson off and on for years--for fractures, joint pain, tears and other orthopedic needs. He is great! Highly knowledgeable, very patient in describing options, never in a hurry to recommend surgery unless all other options have been exhausted. I trust his judgment and highly recommend him.
Explain everything to you about your condition. Well spoken understandable, Make sure ever thing in his power you are getting the best treatment
Dr. Johnson is wonderful: capable and kind. He is a clear expert in his field with a comprehensive approach to care and a compassionate and friendly bedside manner. He explains risks and treatments patiently and clearly.
He was truly concerned about my well being
As usual, dr. Johnson was helpful; answered our questions. etc.
Very personable and not rushed. He answered all my questions
It was a great appointment. It was on time, he answered all my questions and there were no issues with recovery.
Dr. Johnson is a superb physician. Calm and thoughtful, he is an excellent listener who takes all the time necessary with each patient. He has a great depth of experience while at the same time he is highly skilled in the latest advances. I highly recommend Dr David Johnson.
This is my third time with Dr. Johnson. He's thorough, and takes care of the problem.
As usual, Dr. Johnson was excellent to deal with. Totally professional, but also warm and caring, always giving details about what was happening.
One of the best Orhtopedic doctors in DC
Dr Johnson is fantastic. This is the second procedure I have had with him. He is knowledgeable, thorough and kind. I have seen many orthopods in my day and he is one of the best.
As usual Dr. Johnson immediately identified the issue. Told us what it meant for the future and how to deal with sme of the symptoms.
That was only because the staff took to long to check me in for my appointment. Otherwise, I usually only have to wait less than 30 minutes. He is a very professional Orthopedic doctor, I have been with him since 2013 when he did my first knee replacement.
The visit was good. But the follow up by his staff leaves you lost .They need to respond with compassion and promptly .No one expects people to jump but dont leave me a message about how busy you are. I am in healtcare also and will always be responsive ,informative and anticipate some of there concerns that patinet's may have.. So basically a system to f/u with patient's phone calls is needed. There needs to be dedicate phone line to his MOA (if one existed I did'nt get that #) ,the voice message should give info ,"like I'll return these calls before I leave office and dont tell me "how busy you are ".
He was thorough, professional, and friendly. He diagnosed my knee problem and explained it to me in terms that I could understand.
THIS IS NOT MY FIRST TIME TO SEE DR. JOHNSON HIS AIM IS TO HELP YOU GET BETTER, A VERY GOOD DOCTOR!!!!!!
Great Doctor! did knee surgery on one 6 years ago it has been great now I'm back for the other
Answered my questions thoughtfully and well. Is conservative on surgery and treatment base on 40 years experience.
Great as usual!
I find Dr. Johnson a very thorough Dr. He has a nice bedside manner as well.
Dr. Johnson is very friendly and goes out of his way to make you understand what is going on. I highly recommend him!
I enjoyed my visit with Dr. Johnson. Dr. Johnson was very engaging. He made you feel as if you were his only patient. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for an orthopedic. doctor.
David has been my doctor for more than 30 yrs. I have total confidence in him. He diagnosed the problem and treated me immediately. He is the best!
There is nobody better on Knees and Shoulders than Dr Johnson who has been taking care of my infirmaries for 30 years.
Very professional, knowledgeable, and conservative (will try everything before surgery). I have and will continue to refer others to Dr. Johnson.
I would say for your average broken bone he is perfectly fine, but I was dealing with a more complex issue. He was fine but not incredibly insightful. His office was difficult to communicate with when I was dealing with insurance issues.
He was very willing to educate me, answer my questions, and point out details of my MRI results. Very personable too.
This was not my first visit with Dr. Johnson but it was the first in a few years. As always, he was compassionate and took the time to explain everything. He listened to my concerns then discussed a course of action. What more could a patient ask for?
I've seen Dr Johnson several times and he has always been extremely helpful. He's a great doctor and a friendly person, always willing to take the time to answer all my questions. I'd recommend him to anyone, anytime.
I have seen Dr. Johnson for multiple injuries. I really liked him in the past. However, the past several visits, I have waited a very long time for my appointments and then he rushes me out in less than 2 minutes. You should also realize that if you see him at WHC, the hospital charges a significant hospital fee (That zocdoc won't let me list here), in addition to your co-pay. There was no warning from his office about that.
Great doctor. His office seems understaffed and did not even know about the Zocdoc appointment.
