Doctor Luongo was very patient with me as he was explaining my condition and treatment options. He was very positive and optimistic.
I filled in and checked in my forms online so it definitely made the check-in process faster. I arrived at the time of the appointment and was able to see Dr. Luongo in 5 mins. Dr. Luongo is patient and listens well. He has an approachable manner and was able to help me in the short-term by providing some pretty affordable temporary orthotics. I'll be looking to get some custom orthotics from him soon.

I didn't mind the long wait time; however, the visit itself was disappointing. The doctor was rushed, not very friendly, and not very attentive. Night and day compared to my previous podiatrist (I had to look for new doctor because I moved offices)
I really loved Dr Luongo. He was thoughtful and listened to me, did not dismiss my opinions on my own health, and gave me an effective course of action. I kinda wanted to hug him!

Dr. Luongo's office is in one of the older brownstones in what used to be known as Hell's Kitchen, a historic Manhattan neighborhood that's recently been overtaken by gay bars and Thai restaurants (NOT THAT THERE'S ANYTHING WRONG WITH THAT). It's a no-frills setting, but his receptionist, Claudine, is very friendly (I overheard her talking with an elderly patient and her manner was kind and supportive) and everything in the back is spotless and appears up to date. The doctor saw me after a brief wait (the waiting room was full), and although he got right down to business, he chatted with me as he examined my foot. He asked me questions, listened to the answers, and suggested a treatment that I'm trying starting tonight. He sounded experienced and knowledgeable, and also like a nice guy. I will definitely go back if I have foot problems in the future.

Excellent professional and helpful staff.
He was great!

Professional, direct, thorough. The last of which is extremely precious because most midtown Manhattan doctors are quick/busy/try to rush you out. He is also great because he fully explains your options at every price point to protect your feet. i.e. drugstore vs. medical-grade (but not customized) vs. custom orthotics. This is also extremely rare in Manhattan. The office is not the newest posh building /overstaffed office but that's clearly reflected in the fair cost/charges you outside of insurance. (Hay, someone's gotta pay the nice building's rent).
It was quick and efficient.
Very nice and personable. Great bedside manner and very nice family guy. Talked the whole time he was doing my procedure I didn't realize it was over. Very comforting!

Dr. Luongo provided me with thorough answers to my bunion concerns. I appreciate that he did NOT recommend surgery as an immediate option, despite the advanced progression of my bunions. He was forthright about surgery being a last-ditch option and gave me other ideas to prevent pain.
As expected, receptionist did not have me listed. You guys really need to work on that. On the other hand, being from California and needing a podiatrist in New Jersey, you made it a breeze for me!! Thank you!
