About Dr. Hengqing (Anna) Wu
Dr. Anna Wu is a Board-qualified foot and ankle surgeon by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. She is highly trained in advanced surgical techniques, including elective and reconstructive procedures, minimally invasive surgery, and arthroscopy. Her clinical and surgical expertise covers a wide range of conditions such as orthopedic trauma, sport-related injuries, foot and ankle deformities, arthritis, wound care, and limb salvage.
She earned her Bachelor’s in Biology with a specialization in Neuroscience from Stony Brook University. Subsequently, she earned her Doctorate degree from New York College of Podiatric Medicine, graduating with the honor of Magna Cum Laude and ranking in the top five of her class.
Dr. Wu then completed a rigorous and highly competitive three-year surgical residency training at New York Presbyterian/Queens, a Level 1 Trauma Center, and NYP/Weill Cornell Medical Center. She was also appointed as Chief Resident in her final year of residency. Throughout her residency, Dr. Wu received extensive training in foot and ankle orthopedic trauma, sports medicine, elective reconstruction on foot and ankle deformities, wound care, and diabetic limb salvage. In addition, she conducted a research project that was presented at the national American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons conference.
Dr. Wu is passionate about serving her community and is dedicated to delivering the highest standard and personalized care to each patient she encounters. She is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese, allowing her to provide care to a diverse patient population. Outside of medicine, she enjoys karaoke, food hopping, hiking with her friends, family and spending time with her dog, Yogi.

They didn't really do anything for my situation, and they said I had a deductible after saying my insurance was accepted overall she told me to order cream on amazon but this wasn't the worst experience just not great.

I had a fantastic first visit with Dr. Wu! She was so sweet, thoughtful, comprehensive, and skilled. She didn't just treat my symptoms; she gave me a cure to my condition right away!
I ended up going to this clinic because it was the only one with a late same-day time slot at a location quick enough to get to from my workplace. My ingrown toenail was literally stabbing me in the toe so badly it developed pus and made it hurt to walk. I didn't expect much. I had a good relationshi with my previous podiatrist before moving, and I just needed relief from the pain, so I was just expecting to get a trim.
I was pleasantly surprised by the office. It was clean, neat, and well-lit, and Natalia at the front desk was sweet and accommodating. Other places don't have X-rays on-site, so that was a pleasant surprise. I DEFINITELY did not expect a matrixectomy, and all this was done in one hour! LOL 20/10 stars! You two are the answer to my prayer. See you at our follow-up appointment!

It was so easy to find this excellent Podiatrist through zocdoc. Dr. Wu was intelligent, calm and thorough. I felt really well taken care of and she went through a lot of conservative measures that we could take before the possibility of surgery.
