Dr. Mednick was born and raised in San Jose, California. He graduated from Saratoga High School class of 1972. He then completed his B.S at UC Davis in 1976 and his M.S. in 1978. After working as a research biochemist for three years, Dr. Mednick entered the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco and graduated in 1985. He then completed a residency program in podiatric surgery at Mission Oaks Hospital (now part of the Good Samaritan Hosptial) in Los Gatos, California.
Dr. Mednick is also a Qualified Medical Examiner as well as and Expert Reviewer.

Before I went to the Dr. I tried everything to decrease my pain, stretching, rest, ice, taping and changing shoes. While I felt better as soon as I increased my activity I was in pain and miserable. I Also had just begun my vacation and couldn't walk, hike or even walk from the parking lot into a store without pain. The Dr. listened to my issues and concerns, addressed my pain and answered my questions. He gave me a good exam, ruled out stress fracture, performed US exam and gave me a cotisone injection. Very skillfully I might add and not excruciating as Friends had told me it would be. Most of all I felt 95% better within 24 hours and

The Doctor himself barely spoke a few words to me, didnt really explain things to me. His assistant was rude on the phone and in person. The lady at the front desk was pleasant.

I did not get enough time with the doctor to examine my condition . He seemed to be in a hurry .
The worst part is that i was advised to get a custom inner sole ordered which i immediately did but the front desk didn't inform me to pick it up for the next 4 months .. even after regular calls i was told that it hasn't arrived yet and one day i just decided to visit the doc again .. at that moment the receptionist could actually find my customized sole and 2 days before that i had gotten the same response . bad management !

The doctor was fantastic, knew right away what to do, and was very willing to work with my budget and figure out how to make things easier for me while still getting the treatment I needed. Will be seeing him again later this week for the rest of my appointment! His staff are awesome too, very kind and friendly and still professional!

It was very good overall. Front desk was very friendly and fun to talk to. I was seen right away and X-Rays were taken once I described the problem. I would give excellent, but I think I was sold a wrap at a very high mark up (based on amazon searches later). I would still see him again.

I've really enjoyed he was able to answer all of my questions he was able to spend time with me in explaining my options in detail in also explain to my side effects I would have from each different selection I can choose from. The women at the front desk were very nice I also like you were able to do your paperwork online. It took a little bit to fine the office but it was well worth it I plan to return a few more times for some follow ups

It was a great experience. The ladies at the front desk were absolutely delightful. Very nice. The nurse was also very friendly, humble and proffessional. It took the doctor a while to come see me but once he was there, rest was smooth sailing. He was a good listener, very patient, and answered all my questions well. He was not hurried. Very pleasant, calm and polite.
