Dr. David Rossman is the co-founder of Park Avenue Podiatry Associates, P.C. As a 1984 graduate of The New York College of Podiatric Medicine, he completed post-graduate training in surgery and medicine at Lutheran Medical Center in 1985. Dr. Rossman then entered into private practice and in 1986 established The Forest Hills Podiatric Medical Group. He is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics and Primary Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Rossman is a long standing member of The American Podiatric Medical Association. In addition, he is a member of The New York State Podiatric Medical Association and served on the Ethics and Grievance Committee.

I was very impressed with Dr Rossman. He was punctual, courteous, and generally a nice guy. His office has excellent imagery, using digital X-Ray technology. He was able to give me good advice for treating my ankle injury and referred me to a surgeon he trusted. Great doctor, highly recommended.

Dr. Rossman saw me pretty much right away and after checking my foot and taking an x-ray (just across the hall and no wait or anything) told me what the problem probably was. He then made me a temporary brace on the spot, which has really helped with my pain so far! Appreciate the immediate results, efficiency (but not brusqueness) and minimal wait time.

He gave me no reason for my foot pain. After I did all possible (and expensive) analysis he told me that I shouldn't have pain and recommended orthopedic shoe store. Thank god I went to get second opinion otherwise my problem could be much worse by now.

First appointment went well. I have a huge bunion that is impossible to miss. Since it has been giving me pain I decided to visit Dr. Rossman after researching him and his reviews. Every other doctor I've seen has recommended surgery for my foot. Dr. Rossman is very knowledgeable and professional. The first visit he took x-rays and said we would go over them at the second visit. He also took a swab of my blister that he believed to be infected. The next appointment was the following week, he seemed to be rushed and in a huge hurry. He looked at my blister, confirmed it was infected and wrote a prescription for it and took it to the front desk. A few moments later, poked his head back in the room and said "you're all set for today" and I reminded him that we were supposed to go over my x-rays...he then quickly came in the room, pulled the xrays up and confirmed my bunion. As he was about to leave the room again, I had asked what my best options would be for pain and discomfort and he said that a special shoe or surgery. He vaguely elaborated on both and said to visit him again in 2 weeks. It seems to always be that options will be discussed at the next appointment and condition is quite obvious as are the treatments. Dr. Rossman is pleasant enough and is definitely credible with his profession but I have decided to proceed with another foot doctor as I feel like the process is being drawn out and did not feel confident with him at my last appointment.
