“Even though I wasn't seen by the provider I initially chose, the person I did see was overall really helpful and friendly during my experience. I had to wait a bit, which made me late for another engagement, but they were specifically busy that day and couldn't blame them. I'm glad that that was my first experience after a long time of avoiding check-ups.”

About Dr. Lovonne Brown
Born and raised in the twin islands Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, Dr. Lovonne Brown moved to the US as a young adult. After attending medical school at St. George’s University, she had the opportunity to return to Trinidad and worked as a medical intern in a rural hospital where she worked with refugees and immigrants. This experience ignited her passion to address the persistent health disparities within these populations as well as worldwide. Dr. Brown is excited to work with patients in marginalized communities where she can help leave positive footprints through the field of family medicine via community outreach programs, preventative medicine, emergency medicine and international medicine!

Dr. Brown and her staff was the absolute best from the start of my appointment, to completion. Above all, they are some of the kindest humans I’ve come across, especially in healthcare. I had a very disappointing experience.
I had a telehealth appointment scheduled and was ready on time, waiting for the visit to begin. However, I never received the link or any instructions to join the appointment. While I was waiting, I even clicked the Help button in the Zocdoc patient portal to report that I had not received the link and needed assistance.
Despite reaching out during the scheduled appointment time, no one contacted me, the appointment never happened, and I never received the medical care I had scheduled.
What makes this even more frustrating is that I was later charged a
no-show fee. I was unable to attend because I never received the link, yet I am being asked to pay as if I simply chose not to show up.
Not only did I miss the care I needed, but I am now also being financially penalized for something that was completely outside of my control. I hope the clinic reviews what happened and handles situations like this more fairly in the future.

Lovonne was very eloquent and was able to walk me through complex medical understandings with ease, which made me feel cared for and more in control of my symptoms. She was someone I could laugh while showing she was someone who took my pain seriously, and ultimately seemed as through she wanted me to get better.
The telehealth system and its multiple 3rd party systems made coordination difficult but not impossible. No fault of Lovonne.

Unfortunately, I can’t recommend visiting this office. My symptoms that were dismissed as “anxiety” paid me a visit to the ER for a bacterial infection. Plus the office charged me for 3 appointments (only 2 happened). The last one 1, they cancelled themselves and profusely refused to reimburse me. Negligent staff and provider.

I came in because I thought I had strep and she was thorough, she performed the instant strep test a second time to check the results, and she answered all of my questions and explained things in a way that was easy to understand.
