David Simpson is a Diplomat of the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, a member of the American Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, and is a Licensed Acupuncturist throughout the Tri-State area. He holds a private practice in New York City specializing in trauma, Chinese sports medicine, and orthopedic conditions. David has also worked at New York University's renowned Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine in the grant-funded Integrative Musculoskeletal Institute.
While studying and doing research on atomic bomb victim literature in Japan, David was introduced to acupuncture and herbal medicine. It was this introduction that led to his return to the US to obtain his Master of Science Degree in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine at the prestigious Tri-State College of Acupuncture in Manhattan.
David's primary interest is in treating pain, using both classical and modern acupuncture styles. He finds that integrating myofascial trigger point dry-needling can significantly reduce or eliminate pain caused by stress, sports injury, or any of life's "learning experiences." He augments his acupuncture practice through continued study and utilization of Tui Na through the Zheng Gu Tui Na School in Manhattan, and Chinese Internal Arts (Xing Yi Quan) through New York Internal Arts under Tom Bisio.

I've been going to see David Simpson for acupuncture for a few months now. I had an inflamed rotator cuff that at times was causing me great pain and discomfort. I'm pleased to say I'm so much better now! No more pain and I have mobility back! David is kind, intelligent, and really works with you to find what helps YOU. He's very knowledgeable in this field and can make recommendations regarding Chinese herbs for well-being. It really is life-changing. Go NOW and feel better! :)

David is great! I saw him for my lower back pain. My profession requires me to sit for awfully long hours everyday. He needled a couple of points on my stomach for about 20 minutes and my back pain was miraculously gone by the end of my session! He listens to your needs and circumstances and tailors his treatment accordingly to each patient. I strongly recommend David to everyone!
