West Village Acupuncture is owned and operated by Dr. Elizabeth B. Healy, L.Ac., DACM. Elizabeth is a NYS Licensed acupuncturist, certified by the National Commission for Certification of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, and a member of the Acupuncture Society of New York. She ensures individualized care for each of her patients.
Elizabeth earned her Master's in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science and her Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, where she attended the New York City campus. She is currently a faculty member at the Pacific College, New York campus.
Elizabeth's journey to acupuncture began as she sought to address her own health challenges. Before becoming an acupuncturist, she practiced law for 17 years. That stressful and demanding lifestyle eventually led to chronic illness. In search of a solution, Elizabeth explored many different techniques and ultimately found healing through Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She left the practice of law and embraced a new vocation in Oriental Medicine.
Now, Elizabeth dedicates her time to helping others find their own path to better health. It is a far cry from being a trial attorney, and she has found a deeply fulfilling new path. Since leaving the law, Elizabeth has never looked back. She hopes you will allow her to share her experience and knowledge with you on your journey toward better health.
