Dr. Deanna Khalil has been practicing Optometry for 10 years but has been working in eyecare for nearly 18 years starting as an optical technician at Lenscrafters. After graduating with her Doctorate from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2011, she worked in an operative clinic sitting in on eye surgeries and treating the hardest of eye diseases from glaucoma, to keratoconus, to diabetic cases. She currently works in clinics around the Chicagoland area and south suburbs treating patients of all backgrounds and ages. She practices full-scope Optometry and can help with all of your visual needs whether it's an annual exam including glasses and contacts, to more complex cases like diabetic exams or even eye injury and infection. She is fluent in English and Arabic and proficient in Spanish. She works closely with Ophthalmology to ensure continuum of care. As a mother to three young kids, she enjoys treating pediatric cases as well.

Dr. Khalil is one of the best physicians I’ve had! She’s thorough, very friendly and warm, and explains everything that she does—so there are no surprises! I would recommend her to anyone. A big bonus is that she is GREAT with kids! I took my 4 year old to her and she put him totally at ease—he actually ended up enjoying his visit. Thanks Dr. Khalil!
