About Dr. Elizabeth Hanno
Dr. Elizabeth Hanno was born and raised in the Chicagoland area. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Biology at Saint Xavier University. She then continued her education at the Illinois College of Optometry. Upon receiving her Optometry degree, she completed a residency in Ocular Disease at the VA hospital in Danville, IL.
She is patient and thorough. She strives to ensure that every concern of her patients is addressed and explained.
She specializes in primary care, ocular disease, and complex contact lens fittings. She is confident in providing care for patients of every age and ability.
Dr. Hanno took over for Dr. Wendy, who has retired as of April of 2022.
Dr. Hanno is a member of the American Optometric Association and Illinois Optometric Association.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children.

It was my first visit . Office stuff is friendly ,no wait . Really liked the doctor .She listens ,explains clearly what happening to my eyes and not rushing out . Will be going to her with my eye problems in future . Would refer her to others .

I was thrilled with Dr. Hanno. Her office is very professional and the testing is great. Dr. Hanno is very friendly, like her team. Her exam was thorough - as a matter of fact, she found a tear in my retina and has me off to see a specialist next week. I'm so happy I found her as my long time doctor moved out of my area. Dr. Hanno is highly recommended by me.
