We left Dr. Copus' office with tears of joy running down our face! Literally. My mother has had the hardest time finding a doctor, especially because of the many issues she has going on at once. It seems that now a days it's a rarity for a doctor to listen, let alone have empathy for their patients. From the moment we walked into Dr. Copus' office, the staff recognized my mother was nervous, and set her at ease by assuring her that they were going to help, not to mention that Dr. Copus was a great doctor.
It's not very often a staff is that attentive. This behavior is definitely reflective of the standard that Dr. Copus has set for herself. From the moment she walked into the office, my mother was the patient, not me. I love that although I was there for support and confirmation, Dr. Copus spoke directly to my mother. She asked the right questions, listened to what she had to say, and made the best suggestions. In just one visit, Dr. Copus sorted out medication issues, called previous doctors to get the information that was needed, and made sure we left clear on what to do next. Dr. Copus did more for our family in one visit than any other doctor has done after years of seeing them. We left the office relived and cared for. Not only is Dr. Copus good at what she does, she loves doing it. Her passion to care and help her patients shines through. I am switching to be her patient, as I would highly recommend anyone else do the same. Dr. Copus is a real doctor.

I just love Deborah's attitude about approaching a treatment plan.. she truly listens to the patient. So many doctors think they know what's "Best" for you, without taking into account your feelings about your own body ( like you don't know your own body). Most doctors "tell" you what they want you to do… she works with you and wants to do what is best for you and what makes you comfortable .

This woman is fantastic. She LISTENED to me! She HEARD me! She is open to my desire to continue healing myself with alternative medicine as well as conventional medicine. Dr. Copus looks at her patients from a holistic point of view and not just the symptoms. Her office is quiet and cozy. She has all the modern equipment is a homey atmosphere. I will continue to choose her as my PCP.
