Dr. Deirdre Connolly is a board-certified dermatologist at Schweiger Dermatology Group. She is a native New Yorker, who was born and raised on Long Island.
She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania and returned to Long Island to attend Stony Brook University School of Medicine, where she was valedictorian and earned a number of academic and humanitarian distinctions, including induction into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha and Gold Foundation for Humanism honor societies. She went on to complete her training in preliminary internal medicine at Pennsylvania Hospital (University of Pennsylvania) and she completed her dermatology residency training at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, where she was honored with the role of sole chief resident. She completed a fellowship in micrographic dermatologic surgery and cutaneous oncology at Cooper University under the tutelage of a national leader in dermatologic surgery.
Dr. Connolly has published widely on topics in dermatologic surgery, cosmetics, and general dermatology in several peer-reviewed journals, and has published a manual for the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery for trainees on topics in dermatologic surgery. Dr. Connolly specializes in dermatologic surgery including Mohs micrographic surgery, cosmetic dermatology and general adult and pediatric dermatology.

Dr. connolly saw me on a teleconference. She looked at pictures I sent and recommended an in office visit to have a biopsy She was very professional. So the answer to the first question is not applicable since she did not treat me.
