Dr. Goldsberry was exceedingly professional while still being very personable. He and his assistant made me feel very comfortable. They worked quickly an efficiently, but not once did I feel rushed. I have an additional medical condition that could affect my eyes, and Dr. Goldsberry took the time to really explain what to watch for, how symptoms could manifest, and made sure I felt at ease. He gave me details about what we'd do in a hypothetical situation so I could know what to expect if/when it happened. He was honest about the possibility of complications, but reassuring that it was all manageable. Definitely recommend.

Dr. Goldsberry is a 1996 honors graduate from Baylor University in Electrical Engineering. He went on to earn a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Texas A&M University (1997) before completing medical school at A&M in 2001. After completing an internship in Internal Medicine, he successfully completed residency training in Ophthalmology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Following this, he completed a fellowship in Cornea, External Disease & Refractive Surgery at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois, where he learned the latest techniques in cataract surgery and laser vision correction.
Dr. Goldsberry moved to the Dallas area in 2006.
In addition to regular eye exams, Dr. Goldsberry maintains an active surgical practice in anterior segment surgery (cataracts, pterygium excision, cornea surgery) and laser vision correction. He offers a complete array of intraocular lenses, including Toric and Multifocal lenses (Crystalens, ReZoom, ReSTOR), as well as Phakic Lenses (Verisyse, ICL). He offers several laser vision correction procedures including All-Laser LASIK. He is on staff at Centennial Medical Center, Park Central Surgical Center, and Dallas Laser Center. Dr. Goldsberry is a fellowship-trained cornea & refractive surgeon.
Dr. Goldsberry is Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and is active in the American Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgeons, the European Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgeons, the Cornea Society, the International Society of Refractive Surgeons, the Association of American Physicians & Surgeons, the Texas Medical Association, and the Collin County Medical Society. In addition, he is a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and the Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society and maintains an active Professional Engineer license. He has written numerous scientific papers.
Outside the office, Dr. Goldsberry enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, is an avid traveler, plays guitar, and loves to cook (and eat).

Office manager staff was rude and unprofessional. Did not honor zocdoc appointment. Was not consistent about paperwork, despite of filling out paperwork online and in person before the appointment, insisted on rescheduling. Would recommend to avoid this practice. Zocdoc Customer support was very helpful, called and tried to reason with the office manager. Overall practice is managed unprofessionally and it was evident form the way the office manager communicated, was inconsistent with what she requested or followed.

Dr. Goldsberry is very personable and made me feel at ease. He was also very knowledgeable about contact lenses as I had been having a bit of trouble with the brand I had been wearing.
Just wish his staff could be just a little more professional. Where are the days that doctor/dentist staff wore at least a lab coat? Now it is street clothes.

This was a first time visit for routine eye exam. Got to office early since I wasn't sure of location. Very easy to find. Was seen right on time. Dr. Goldsberry was fantastic. He explained about conditions and what to look out for. Highly recommend him. Great people working in front desk.

I received a thorough and accurate examination, and was told that my cataract condition was not bad enough for an operation. Dr. Goldsberry prescribed new glasses instead. I will have to see him next year to be re-evaluated.

Amy in the front office called to see if I wanted to come in earlier than my ZocDoc chosen same day appointment, so I DID! (Thank you, Amy.) And Dr. Goldsberry could not have been nicer or spent more time trying to find the foreign object in my eye --never found it. But he made me feel better about my symptoms and treated them with drops. A VERY VERY different experience from the last ophthalmologist I visited years ago whose appointments took hours.
