Dr. Warren was born in Houston, Texas. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Texas Tech University with a B.S. degree in Biology. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, where she was a inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She completed her residency at Texas Tech University. Dr. Warren is the proud mother of three children.
She is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and also board certified in LASIK by the American Board of Eye Surgeons. Dr. Warren is a member of the American Medical Association, the Texas Medical Association, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and the Dallas Academy of Ophthalmology. She serves as a surgical staff member at Key-Whitman Surgery Center, Presbyterian Medical Center in Dallas, Baylor Medical Center, and Premier Ambulatory Center in Garland.
Dr. Warren is experienced in all areas of general ophthalmology and is diligent in staying current with the newest medications and techniques to provide her patients with the best possible care. Her surgical expertise includes cataract, glaucoma, and refractive surgery. She is experienced in LASIK surgery, which corrects nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism, performing IntraLase® using Wavefront customized treatment. Dr. Warren is also credentialed to perform refractive lens implants, including Crystalens® and ReSTOR®, which allow patients to see near, intermediate, and far distances without glasses or contacts. Her glaucoma patients benefit from the latest technology, including selective laser trabeculectomy and endocyclophotocoagulation.

Waited in a room for 45 minutes for the doctor to examine my eyes after spending an hour with the technician who actually did all the testing for my new prescription.
The time spent with the ophthalmologist was literally less than 5 minutes and then I was told everything looks good come back in a year. Bedside manner needs some work…

I never saw the doctor. The assistant reviewed my medical history and began trying to do dilation and refraction which were additional significant charges. I said I have a know cataract and I'm here to ask the doctor a couple of questions to see if I want her to do the surgery. This was me with much unfriendliness and disdain by this assistant Dee and she escorted me out of the office saying the doctor won't see me without her doing the procedures first. Terribly rude and unpleasant experience.

They did not properly confirm my insurance as it was given to them. They made a wrong assumption, without communicating it to me, then proceeded to overcharge me, arguing with me about who my carrier was. Unfortunately, this is the attitude of the front desk staff, that I have experienced each time visiting this office.

As a new patient, I was very pleased with the very thorough annual exam I received. The staff and doctor were very friendly and answered all my questions. The wait time was a bit longer than expected but was not a big concern. Would definitely recommend this Key-Wittman practice and the Plano location for your eye care needs.

Dr. Warren was fine, it’s just the support staff that needs an overhaul.
The person who took my information never made eye contact with me which is a sore spot for me.
The support staff was loud at the front desk talking about things that were not work related...etc.
As a person who has to deal with clients on a daily basis, I know it can be overwhelming at times but either take the day off or take a 30 minute break if you need it because I’m a paying client and at minimum am at least owed someone to look me in my eye when they greet me.

My visit with Dr. Kimberly Warren was rushed. She seemed very bother to answer any of my questions. Spent nearly 5 hours there only to receive the same diagnoses which was already provided by an Optometrist. I felt like their lab rat who facilitated the practice needed for all their Fancy Equipment. My visit there was a complete waste of time and money.

In recent years, I can't remember such a great Dr. office experience. I think they even got me in a few minutes early and started the diagnosis workup immediately. After that, they told me "Now I'll get the Dr.". Doctor was there within 2-3 minutes. Amazing.

I arrived at 8;05 for my scheduled apt of 0800. I was 9 am before I was called back to the first exam room. I will assume the extra time was due to the fact that I was a new patient. But, it was smooth sailing after that. Staff were friendly and engaging. The doctor was even nicer. Will definitely use this office for my yearly eye exams.

Efficient office and friendly but again, one of those offices where there's a pretty long wait and you spend most of your time telling your story to the medical assistant rather than the doctor. She literally only saw me for 5 minutes. The neat "techy" part of the office is that they give you a tracker to see how long the examination process takes after they dilate your eyes. The doctor was friendly and efficient but seemed rushed.
