Dr. Le was very prompt, kind, and helpful. He really takes his time to go over results with you and explain everything. He is polite when listening as well, and seems to genuinely care about what the patient says. There was no wait, either in the waiting room or in the exam room. He is punctual AND explains thoroughly, proving that Drs can do both.

When I picked up my new glasses the staff member helping me seemed bothered/annoyed. My new glasses were "crooked" and she twisted them in front of me - I told her I had never had anyone do that before and she said she wasn't going to walk away to do it - that she knows what she's doing. I have been a "day one" customer/patient and never have felt like I was bothering someone picking up my new glasses or at any exam until that day.

Dr. Derek Le is a native Houstonian, born and raised in Tanglewood. After graduating from Bellaire High School, he attended Texas A&M University where he majored in Biology with a minor in Psychology. Dr. Le went on to pursue his Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry. During his optometric training, Dr. Le spent a year in clinical rotations at the Oklahoma Cherokee Nation Medical Clinic in Tahlequah, the South Texas Veteran's Affairs Medical Center in San Antonio, and Hope Community Clinic in Houston.
Since graduating in 2018, Dr. Le moved to Cinco Ranch and has developed a love for the city of Katy. Outside of the practice, Dr. Le is an avid tennis player, and he is always looking for new players to rally with. He spends most of his time with his wife Constance and his newborn daughter Mia or serving at their local church.

Dr Le is amazing and would recommend him and have recommended him to family and friends. I would not recommended purchasing any glasses from you ever. I was talked into and charged for transition glasses that DO NOT transition, with no offer of a resolution or refund.

I shouldn’t have to ask more than once for a copy of my prescription from my appointment. Also, I was given a pair of trial contact lenses…not only did they expire in 2021 (it’s 2023) but it was the completely wrong prescription. My left eye is -3.75 and I was given -5.75. That is completely unacceptable and irresponsible.

Even though I had received confirmation of my appointment, the office wasn't tracking it and the initial response as I stood in the office wasn't satisfactory. The staff was nice and eventually offered better solutions, but it was quite frustrating.

I have been coming to this store since it opened. The staff is always different and now I can’t get my glasses that I have had for 7 years. I was told to leave my glasses to get lenses, I never have had to do that. They are the same glasses and the same lenses. I have had enough of this store and will not be coming back.

Dr. Le was wonderful with Aubrey. This was her first eye exam and she was nervous and a little scared. Dr. Le took the time to talk to her about the exam and even calmed her unicorn “bob”. She raved about the experience to every member of the family. Thank you Dr. Le!

Very well run office. Felt extremely comfortable with Dr. Lee. I usually Dr, Bird and she is also great. It was my first time to see him and I felt he addressed all my concerns and I enjoyed visiting with him.

Dr Le was thorough in explaining what is going on with my eye sight. I did not like any of the frames on display. I don’t know what it would take to have a greater selection. Staff members were all pleasant and efficient.

In house lab needs to be brought back. Example: at this time I do not have the money to purchase news lenses for for current frames but when I will they must be sent out and that can take 2 weeks to get back. So, how am I supposed to see for this 2 weeks when I only have 1 pair of glasses.

Dr Le is so professional yet friendly. He was not in a rush to finish my appointment and gave me sound guidance and checked my eyes thoroughly. He is one of the rarest honest doctor's I have been to.
