She is an amazing doctor and her staff is wonderful. I was nervous about my visit and everyone made me feel at ease. She really listened to all of my concerns and questions. My nurse was very kind as well.
There was a problem with my insurance and the receptionist was very friendly and helped me work everything out.

Dheepa Ramasamy, MD , received her Doctor of Medicine from Thanjavur Medical College, India in 1999 (MBBS), after which she did postgraduate training in Dermatology at Madras Medical College, India.
She completed her Internal Medicine residency at St. John Hospital and Medical center (affiliated with Wayne State University) in Detroit in 2009. During her final year she was awarded the Robert E Biirk award for her excellence in research.
She practiced General Internal Medicine and Hospital Medicine before she moved to Katy and joined Katy Medical and Wellness clinic in 2014. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and has special interest in Preventative Medicine and Women’s health. Dr Ramasamy strives to provide compassionate patient care and while enjoying her practice of Internal Medicine also loves spending time with her two young children.

I would never go to this doctor again. She was very uncaring and the appointment felt more like an interrogation than what I came to be treated for. The staff were rud and seemed like they did not want to be there. I couldn't wait to get out of there. I will definitely find another Dr.

Dr Ramasamy was very friendly and professional. I was already angry at the waiting as I had to speak to the nurse twice when patients who arrived long after me were called in ahead of me and each time I was told they were for the other doctor. However when I finally saw her, she was warm, friendly and detailed in her consultation. I really liked her though her office staff need to be friendlier. I would see her again though cos she made me feel very comfortable.

The entire staff was courteous and professional. Dr. Hema was thorough in her evaluation and requested testing.
The fact they were able to draw blood and perform EKG in the office saved a great deal of time. No pain on the blood draw or shot given.

I was looking for a female doctor (personal preference) in Houston and Dr. Ramasamy was great. She made me feel super comfortable and listened to all of my problems. She was also thorough in explaining how things worked.
I was a new patient and she took the time to go through my background and my current healthcare habits.
Would definitely recommend her to others!
